Her character made so little sense.

She has been a real inspiration for me and I've tried to copy her resilience in my daily life.
Like that time when my buddy was about to do something really courageous and heroic by jumping into a fire to save some kids, and I just decided to blindside tackle him before he could. I then told him I was saving him, even though it put us in a far more perilous situation. It was a really beautiful moment <3

I blame her entire arc on Rian Johnson.

They could have turned her entire character around if she breaks down after crashing into Finn, saying she didn't want to lose anyone else.
That she wasn't willing to sacrifice more since her sister(?) died in that bombng run that accomplished nothing. Hell throw in that she heard about Finn and has a crush and that's why she was so disappointed and critical of him seemingly trying to run away earlier.
Corny but at least it helps make some sense of her choices and deepens the understanding of the character arc.

Terrible character and terrible casting.
The character reminds me of how Hollywood saw Asian males in the 80's comedies.
If they wanted to cast an Asian female in a budding-adventure-hero role, I've always said they should have cast Chloe Bennet (real name: Chloe Wang) from Agents of SHIELD.
