Did you have the dog for 500 days by any chance?

It wasn't nearly that heavy, but yeah Morty had some feels to deal with.

And this is making me think this isn’t Morty C-137 (or whoever Rick C-137’s Morty is since his original is likely to be Evil Morty) since Morty did have a very intimate and important relationship in that timeline. Wouldn’t shock me if at the end of the season we’re just seeing a bunch of alternate Ricks and Mortys.

That's a good point. The Morty of season 4 (C-137?) had seen some shite. He lived a life that that covered the highest highs and the lowest lows only to have it all ripped away.

In this episode Marty made a comment about having never fit in or be accepted. The Morty of season 4 absolutely lived a life where he was accepted and loved by someone.

fricking Jerry.

E3 has been my least favorite so far, with 1 as my top.

I could def see this season being a look at a bunch of different rick and mortys, but who really knows, it could have been that way since the beginning of the show. It’s kind of the beauty of it.

A few people have mentioned it, but if there are any that are “our” Rick and morty, I think it was the ones shown coming back to earth with space Beth at the end of e2.

This might be true, especially after the decoy families of last week. Wouldn't be surprised if later in the season c137 shows back up.

Or this generally.

It's a way to keep stories flexible too, since our Morty has grown and experienced a lot but you still want to mine that contrast between that teenage passionate that drives you to want a bad relationship with Rick's loneliness driving him to one.

Morty got that Planetina poon only to lose her to insanity. Par for the course old chap. But he got laid.

He’s gone Rick dark this season. Are we seeing the evolution of Evil One Eyed Morty?

Unless Episode 2 is disconnected from the 1st and 3rd, I don’t think so. We’ve seen our Rick and Morty at least once this season.

It was his best episode.

“That is a human life and this is an election cycle”. I was dying at that part.

So apparently this episode has awoken the toxic fan base as they’re absolutely bombing the RT audience score because of the last two episodes.

People weren’t kidding when they said a lot of the fan base is toxic as shite

It’s crazy that this is the second episode that they’ve had to deal with Morty’s unintentional offspring.
