OK so the first episode was rough. But eps 2-3 were much, much better.

Right, my understanding was that Evil Morty was going to pop up through the seasons just enough for us to remember he is there, then would end up being the last season main protagonist.

Season 1 has some really strong episodes and some ok ones. I’d say the floor is raised in seasons 2 and 3 as even the worst episodes of those seasons still have redeeming qualities. Season 4 is maybe the most up and down but when it hits, it hits.

Who cares.
One of the things I love about this show is that it has that normal family centered cartoon thing of consequences from one episode not carrying over into the next (Simpson’s, Family Guy, Bobs Burgers, etc etc….). Except sometimes the consequences do follow over, and sometimes it’s explained with decoy families, sometimes it’s explained with clones, or alternate universes, or different dimensions, or who really cares?
Then none of it is ever explained or hashed out, so literally their are infinite possibilities and theories out there that could or could not be true, just roll with it
shite part of me thinks at the end Rick is going to wake up from a dream he’s having in a rehab center while is family he hates is visiting

It wasn't nearly that heavy, but yeah Morty had some feels to deal with.
The Summer/Rick stuff was funny for the most part. Jerry doing the stupid thing with the boardgame when Beth and Morty were having a blow up.
Thought this was a strong episode, though not elite.

I hate seeing still screen captures of Sum-Sum. I never notice it in the show where it's in motion, but every time I see a still of her face all I see if fricking Jerry's face with a ponytail.
