Granted its like shooting fish in a barrel for them, but I could really listen to these guys just talk about film structure all day and how this film doesn't manage to get any of it right. This isn't a Plinkett Review, but its great, funny, and insightful like those reviews. It will make you see Adam Sandler as a real money grabbing piece of shite and the guys make him look far worse than they made George Lucas look. It may be taken down soon since they absolutely dog Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, and the cult of Scientology for about 5 minutes in the review.

They'll be dead in a few days.

#OccupyAdamSandlersHouse

God, they absolutely rape Adam Sandler in this review. I think they raped him more than they raped George Lucas, and put him an even more negative light. They said they actually learned more about cinematic production in this film, and not in a good way. They just basically say that he is an extremely unethical conman who pretty much inflates the budget of his films as much as possible so he and his cohorts can get as much money as humanly possible, despite the fact it shouldn't have even a quarter of its budget. If these guys ever really wanted to make it in Hollywood, they've really, really burnt their bridges on this review.

Also going over the complexities behind the product placements was just great as well.

Yeah, they really tore into Sandler. I bet his friends love him.

Adam Sandler is probably going to see this review. This is the type of analysis, like his Plinkett reviews, that greatly spreads. I've actually thought that Adam Sandler was all in all a good guy who just lost his comedic sensabilities. Now I see him as nothing more than a con man. Its simply ridiculous how spot on they got on this review, as always.

They tore into pretty bad and deservedly so...

80 million dollar budget for that film is comical

I've seen the Plinkett reviews, but these guys are just as good. I can't wait to go back and see the others.

I'm pretty sure sandler won't care. I love everyone up in arms over this movie. Like billy madison was some high brow intellectual comedy.

Billy Madison was actually humorous.

All of his movies revolve around gimmicky characters. And I enjoy most of them. I just find it amusing people think he used to make amazing movies and this one falls way short. Maybe if he threw in a "he called the shite poop" line people wouldn't be so upset.

But if you look at his previous movies, like Billy Madison and Big Daddy and Happy Gilmore, there was some substance to them. They were by no means some great philosophical comedic breakthrough, but they were fan favorites and remain so to this day and they were actually funny movies.

Can you remember anything that happened in Click? 50 First Dates? Chuck and Larry (besides Jessica Biel's fine arse)? Spanglish? His movies today just lie there. They're wet fish. He's making his money and I'm not hating him because I figured his funny ship had sailed a long time ago.

Honestly, I thought his career was over after Little Nicky, but evidently people think he is still funny, but I don't get it.

Click is great IMO. I'm a Sandler fan, but I don't expect him to make the same movies now as he did 15 years ago. It's more family-aimed these days, which means less funny to me and more funny to kids/parents. Grown Ups is a great example of that, and most people on here hated it. I actually thought it was better than I was expecting because I was expecting it to suck hardcore. It wasn't a great movie, but it was decent enough and I realize what its target audience is.

Just like I realize that even though I used to LOVE Sandler movies, it was mainly jibberish and fart jokes anyway.

Actually, Billy Madison is a brilliant comedy. They went places that no mainstream comedy would really dare. They didn't just kill the clown, they made his death, well, realistic looking -- which is kind of horrifying but you laughed anyway. Some of the cutaways were so bizarre. Just a great high-concept comedy.

And I'll defend 50 First Dates, which was actually a sought-after script before Sandler got it.

I'm at work so haven't seen the link, but if these are the two RLM guys sitting in the chairs drinking beer while reviewing, one of the guys is Mr. Plinkett.

those people have way to much time on there hands. I enjoyed the star wars reviews but that one was about as painful as seeing Jack and Jill.

I guess I feel nostalgic about the earlier movies because I can still see the scenes in my mind. I still quote Billy Madison, Big Daddy and Happy Gilmore to this day. Even Mr. Deeds had some moments.

Does a movie like Grandma's Boy count as a Sandler movie even though he wasn't technically starring in it?
