Yeah, the only way all of this this would make sense is if Cap spent his life in the alternate dimension than returned to the original to say goodbye
They essentially used the movie Primer style of time travel

My interpretation of that was that he went back, returned the stones and closed the loops, then used his jump to go back to Peggy rather than using it to bring him back forward to the present.
Again, I need to watch it again to try to understand it better.

Remember the Ant Man movie- he shrinks down but retains his mass and strength. Go down small enough and he can withstand some hellacious force. As they said, it's done by shrinking the distance between subatomic particles. -note, that makes him being effective as Giant Man basically a no-go, he's approaching a gaslike state.
Heck, if you think about it, I bet Ant Man could have taken the Gauntlet and did the snap, he'd just need to go to the size of an atom. The radiaton from the snap shouldn't be able to penetrate him.
Second note on that, I guess the Pym Particles have some effect that prevents him from becoming a singularity and sucking in the planet.
Eh, after recalling what physics I learned back in the day, I guess he doesn't become a Black Hole because the Pym Particles are the compressing force, and not gravity. He doesn't have the mass to exert that much of a gravitational pull.
So, I guess that's what happens- they shrink to a quantum singularity and enter the Quantum Realm, where time is also compressed and folded over on itself in overlapping layers... and they can just browse around and pick the time they choose to re-emerge.

Until he fights Thanos again and he’s still fat. Or when Tony dies and it pans to Cap crying and chubby face fat Thor is next to him. Dumb as hell not having him back to normal at that point.

I took it as a play on one upping each other's love numerically (two), instead of besides/also (too). It follows as one, two, three but, as kids do, takes it to an extreme. 3 million could work as well. But that's why it's not "1000" like you wonder.

If you want funny superheroes, then Spiderman or Deadpool is more your speed then.
Big Lebowski Thor may have been funny for a few scenes but not the whole damn movie and most fricking certainly not more movies. They're taking it way too far for a character who is not known for humor in the comics.
I can't wait until Thor gets back to this badass warrior King of Asgard and source material accurate version that doesn't have time for wisecracks and just wants to restore Asgard to its rightful glory and frick some shite up in the process.
Now this is perfection.....
Not this dirty fat tub of shite that squatting in some shithole village that's a far cry from what Asgard was....

The time travel stuff is going to plague this movie forever.
I'm already seeing people that are convinced that Cap's timeline is a loop and that there are no alternate timelines.
That he was born, became Cap, went into the ice, woke up and became an Avenger, 10 years later jumps back in time, lives with Peggy, travels to the lake as his younger self jumps back in time, repeat. And endless loop.
None of this will ever be resolved.

One thing I'm confused about-
When Loki took the cube tesseract and vanished, how did it end up in NJ? I've seen most of the movies but I may have missed a detail in one of the stand alone Captain America movies.
Can anyone help me understand that part?

I really don’t understand why some are so upset about the time travel thing. Everyone knew this was how it was gonna play out as soon as Infinity War ended, and honestly if you were paying attention you probably figured out the specifics by the end of the second Ant Man movie. Then the trailer literally shows you exactly what’s gong to happen.
