Hondo's the GOAT. They need to bring him into one of the live action series and this one would make sense. Hell, they have him featured in the Millenium Falcon ride at the park and a lot of casual fans have no idea who he is.

Not watching,

I'm just done with Disney+ series.
Not everything needs to be a 10 episode series. Just give me a 2 hour movie.

Yea this is upsetting because he's such a great character. We have to be getting close to live action Hondo. We already got live action Cad Bane...he's got to be next.

I'm so glad that quote didn't make it into the final movie

After seeing how they portrayed the Inquisitors in Obi-Wan compared to how they were portrayed in Rebels, if Hondo is cast in this show i'd expect him to be a hispanic woman dark enough to be considered black, and this Hondo would never frick his friends over once. He'll be a nice "guy".

Hondo should literally be Jack Sparrow in space
I want to see a heist movie in Star Wars where there's a bunch of different thieving factions all going after the same loot. Han, Hondo, Lando, Crimson Dawn, Cad Bane, Boba Fett, Bothans, etc all going after the same score.

Tony Gilroy still in charge of this?

You're not allowed to have those kind of creative ideas

They should have just added all of those people to Solo: A Star Wars story.
It would have been really close to what you were wanting with them going after the coaxium in the end. i.e. multiple parties wanting the unrefined coaxium.

Between Star Wars and the MCU, how are people not tired of the over-saturation?
It is nonstop. They don’t give you any room to breath.
I don’t know how some of y’all even stay motivated to keep up with it.
It isn’t like they are creating deep lore or anything.

In my story that I wrote in my head 30 seconds ago:
All of the various factions are completely in the dark about what they're supposed to be stealing. Some don't even know who they're being employed by. Some are just chasing it because they know that their rivals are, so it must be worth something.
The twist is that the mcguffin is a hoard of sith holocrons from korriban or the list of force sensitive children.
Any ways, after lots of double-crosses, chases, and heists, Vader gets wind of all of these shenanigans after our protagonists slip through an imperial blockade and he pursues them himself. Vader basically whacks everyone, including the baws sent by the Emperor, until it's basically down to just Boba, Hondo, Han, Lando, and Chewie. So, the last remaining factions band together to survive being murdered by Vader. However, Vader's gonna Vader, and he eventually wins and gets the mcguffin, but our protagonists rig it to explode, destroying it. That's how Han ends up in debt to the Hutts or something.
So, basically, the first half is a fun, light-hearted Oceans 11 style heist movie/spy vs spy kinda vibe. Then, the movie takes a left turn into survival horror as Vader starts killing off the teams one by one until he finds the ones with the goods.

People don't tire of saturation when the content is GOOD. They get sick of it when it SUCKS. Studios struggle to consistently crank out good content when they have to put out too MUCH content too fast or go progressively WOKE. They can only keep it up for so long before it falls apart.

Looks good. I like the new stuff. I just don’t try to compare it in anyway to the films. I just watch it for what it is. This is an could be an interesting story it seems.
