The blonde Nazi lady could get it

That said, between TLJ and Obi Wan, it’s game over man.

I wasn't the least bit excited about this, I really enjoy the Favreau and Filoni stuff but have been kind of meh on everything else with Star Wars lately, even though I liked Rogue One Andor was kind of forgettable for me as well.

But I have to agree with the above post, this looks like it could be really good. Visually it looks great as well.

Now that I look into it a little more, Tony Gilroy wrote this and Rogue One, and everything he writes that I've seen I really like. So I expect this to be no different.

He's written all the Bourne movies, Armageddon, Michael Clayton, Duplicity, State of Play, Nightcrawler, Rogue One, Beirut, etc etc.

Damn you Disney. I loved Rogue One, and this ties back into that. They give you that little nugget every few months to keep you from canceling their streaming service.

TBH, This looks a little cookie cutter. I'm sure it will be good enough but Star Wars is getting saturated with content that becoming repetitive.

Rogue One and Mandalorian were awesome, because they were gritty and SFx were more natural looking and less CGI in a lot of parts.

That is what Star Wars needs. We want the back stories and the underbellies of the Galaxy.

Kenobi tried, but was trash with young Leia and Reva's story. Vader vs. Anakin was sweet, but a bit of a cannon disturbance.

Why do you all keep falling for this over and over? At some point you have to ask yourself if you’re just retarded?

I remember when the Obi Wan trailer came out and what we actually got. Never again.

pass. I don't even care if it's not bad. Disney doesn't deserve shite from me.

Because at the end of the day we're still Star Wars fans, and want to see GOOD new material.

Mando was good, so we know some series can be.

Rogue One was solid. It's darker and dirtier. There aren't any concessions to kiddies in that, I suspect there won't be in this.
I think when they have a solid idea what other genre to copy, things work ok. Mandalorian was a cowboy, this looks to be a Cold War/Nazi spy tale.

All this does it make me more mad about how shitty Kenobi is.

That show had two of the most famous characters in movie/tv history and it looks like it had 1/10 the budget of Andor, a relatively new character

I never would have imagined caring about a Casian Andor series, but this looks pretty damned good. I just hope no major character gets shot/stabbed in the stomach.

The hyperbole around Kenobi is getting silly. Yes, it had some bad moments, but overall it was an enjoyable show.

i didn't enjoy it. I've basically erased it from my memory, just like the sequel trilogy.

This looks good, and i expect it to be good b/c they are using writers who actually give a shite and respect the lore of Star Wars.
I like that we are going to see Saw and Mon Mothman and the beginning of the rebellion. I'm interested in that.
