There was a time where I think they had Community, Parks and Rec, the Office, and 30 Rock. Around 2010-12 or so.
My Name is Earl was mixed in there as well. Scrubs was mixed in with those shows early and then Community later.
At one point they were running comedies on Tuesday nights as well because they had so many good ones. There were even some short lived ones that were decent but not great that would be world beaters compared to some of the half hour sitcoms on TV now.

It may have even been out drawing Seinfeld at that time, yet now, it's basically vanished from existence.
All 7 seasons from the original run as well as the 8th season that was first run as a Spectrum Original are streaming on Amazon Prime.

Before Friends, Mad About You was probably NBCs second biggest show on the network.
It may have even been out drawing Seinfeld at that time
I remember one episode of seinfeld when george and susan are in bed at night and they're watching mad about you. didn't seem out of the ordinary at the time but now that I think about it I guess it's kinda unusual for a show to reference another show on the same network, that was airing at roughly the same time.

And which of these did Friends knock out when it debuted in 1994?
Also, which night was Laroquette - Tuesday? I feel like they moved Wings to Tuesday also.
Wings - can't say enough.

I've lived eastern just about all my life but have been central the last year and it's growing on me. I mean what's not to like about getting everythign you love only an hour earlier? CFB starts at 11, NFL at noon, primetime TV comes on at 7 or 8 instead of 8 or 9. It's got its perks.

Huge hits
None of them were huge hits. The Office was the only one that regularly finished in the top 100 in viewers and it was only in the top 50 once.

Tony Shalhoub would earn a few points for wings.
LA Law had Benny, who was special needs. (What surprises me a bit is that I remember his name, but none of the others.
Seinfeld wasn't must see for us although they should get points for ethnics and unpleasant personalities that were underrepresented elsewhere.
Nigel and Maris on Frasier could check some boxes.

This was intended to be a nostalgia thread not a racial demographic thread but i can’t say im surprised it turned out this way.

That lineup featured a few of my crushes:
Crystal Bernard (Wings)
Jane Leeves (Fraiser)
Peri Gilpin (Fraiser)
Also, Gilpin was the voice of Volcana in Superman: TAS, and was even sexy in that

Ursual Buffay was a regular on Mad About You before Friends, appeared in 3 times as many Mad About You episodes compared to Friends
Frasier Crane appeared on Wings before Frasier

You’re starting with the mid 90s but really “Must See TV” started a decade earlier. The Thursday line up 1984-85
The Cosby Show (#1 Show for 5 years)
Family Ties
Cheers
Night Court
Hill Street Blues (truly ground breaking show)

Hated Merridith Baxter Birney.
Cheers and Hill Street were phenomenal.
