Yep, clicked on the thread to say Superbad.

That captured my high school friend group better than any movie I've ever seen, and it holds up to this day.

Hell, one of us even got "bled" on at a party.

...it was me.

Fast Times captured the transition into the 80's perfectly. So much going on with music and fashion, cars, etc. back then. It was a great time to grow up.

While I don't actually care for the movie, Reality Bites really captured the self righteous, overly idealistic slackers of the mid to late 90's.

has Can't Hardly Wait been mentioned?

i think they did a great job depicting mid to late 90s high schoolers.

I figured Dazed and Confused would be on here. I'm way too young for that era but it seems very realistic and not overly dramatic, like a John Hughes film like the Breakfast Club.

The NHL video game scene in Swingers seems very accurate interesting to see Go mentioned. I've never seen it but I believe that is another Doug Liman film.

I think the Americans has done a really great job at capturing some subtleties of the early Reagan er 80s.

American Graffiti is almost perfect in it's replication of early vietnam era America.
