I remember feeling like shite after I watched that episode.
I mean, I expected it to end happily...or at least normally.
But it was just miserable.
I wasn't sad; I just felt like shite.

Probably one of the reasons I stopped watching that show.

In Casablanca, inside Rick's Cafe Americain, an obnoxious group of drunk uniformed Germans are loudly singing Nazi songs, while the rest of Rick's customers are looking glassy-eyed and depressed. Then a key character stands up and with Rick's nodded approval, tells Rick's regular band to strike up "le Marseillais" and the crowd goes wild - stands, starts singing, the Germans try to drown out the French voices and band, the French voices and the band just play louder. In the end, the Germans slink away and by this point I am in tears. "Vive le France!"
