re: 12x16 Hobby Shed

Posted by WITNESS23 on 2/20/26 at 7:06 am to
Following because I want to put a 12x24 shed/workshop in my yard. I have a slab for it already.

Don't know if buying a kit or having one built is the better/cheaper option.
I don't think there is a wrong way of doing it.
I asked out of genuine curiosity.
I have kids aged 4 and 2 and I go back and forth on how to set them up financially as well.

Yea, I just wonder how kids will act if you tell them they will have 9 million dollars when they get to retirement age.

That can kill drive.
Obviously different kids handle this differently, but that would be my worry.
Is there much difference in investing and saving for yourself and letting them inherit it?
It would compound the same.
Beam clamps and unistrut is the answer.

re: Caulking is Cracking

I have a similar issue. Bought a house in June. House was built in 69. Has a room that on the exterior wall is a raised panel wainscoting. It looked bad when we moved in and I replaced the caulk with some trim caulk from home depot.
Fast forward to when it started getting cold and I am having wood movement almost 1/2" between the trim in the raised panel.

I think there is minimal if any insulation in that exterior wall so it's somethjng that I'm going to have to deal with. Bought some "Big Stretch" caulk and plan on tearing out the caulk and redoing it. Hoping it will be enough.
If it's not I'm not sure what to do.

I read it lasy year then read The Three Musketeers.

The Count of Monte Cristo is my second favorite book after Lonesome Dove so I didn't find it as good but would still recommend.

Also curious on any movies and television. I only remember a little bit of the 2002 film.
Nothing would say welcome to LSU Lane with a shooting in Tiger Stadium

Winter Weeds

Posted by WITNESS23 on 1/14/26 at 7:53 am
Is now the time to apply the winter weed cocktail or should I wait until February?

My back yard is St. Aug and front is Zoysia.
What should I apply to Zoysia(if anything) and when?
Did you miss the times LSU has put athletes on billboards in Times Square?

I'd argue the opposite. They rarely compete on the same days.
It's their free minor league.
Government will force it

If you have a mortgage, your lender will require it or not give you the loan.

So, really not an option.

That's all of Sheridan shows. It's great to start, then just give it time, hell make it unwatchable.

He needs to stick to films or mini series.
