Drive down River Road from LSU into downtown eat at Past Times, walk the levy, USS Kidd.
Pull on the doors at the PMAC (usually you can find one open and go look at the court)
They have torchy's in Texas so you could find another place to eat at Chimes Street or the Perkins road overpass, though not technically on campus.
USS kidd is unfortunately not there right now.
How's his lawn?
Play with it until it looks right.
Too many variables for it to be consistent. House brick? Siding? Stucco? What color of those?
One color won't fit all.

It is partial shade. It is among the St. Aug not it's own patch or anythjng but it is under a tree
Bump?
Is my only option to nuke it and the grass and plug/sod what I kill?

Basketgrass/Blue Violet in St. Aug
Posted by WITNESS23 on 4/6/26 at 7:39 am
I have some St. Aug that has some basketgrass and common blue violet in various spots.
Any recommendations for herbicide?
It seems like anything I can use to control either will also take out the St. Aug.
Any pre-emergent recs for next year?

Like I said not sure if it does.
It is classified as horror on rotten tomatoes
But it certainly isn't Halloween or Nightmare on Elm Street horror.

Most excited for SWJr since he had to cancel last year.
CWG is going to put on a great show.
Interested to see Buffalo Traffic Jam
I saw Lance Roark open for the Castellos at the Texas Club and both are solid.
I won't get to see him because he's playing at the same time as CWG but D. K. Harrel is solid

How much does it run to have them aerate and top dress?
Downvoters clearly aren't Costco members
It's my understanding that you don't want to dethatch St. Aug as you will damage the stolons (runners). But I guess it depends on how the lawn currently looks and if you need to remove a lot of material to give it a reset.
I find just using a rake and raking up all the dead material to thin it out helps a lot.

I listened to the Jim Dale readings this year. Was my first time reading/listening to the books.
I am very excited to listen to the full cast versions in a few years when I revisit it.

I'm going to scalp my zoysia next weekend.
Going to wait to do leveling until june/July.
Wouldn't it be easier to level after scalped?
I want it to fill in quickly but I also want to level it properly.

Working on getting the zoysia in my front yard right.
Bought the house in June and it was 4"-4 1/2".
Leveled it some last summer and got it to 2"-2 1/2".
Level it more and bring it down to around 1-1/2"
Clearing weeds and vines from my side fence my elderly neighbor has let take over.
Cutting back leggy/thined Azaleas that were getting choked out by the weeds/vines once they finish blooming.
Removing old trash shrubs and replacing.
Many more but that's it for this spring and summers projects.

Didn't know there was a movie but I'm excited for it. The book was great.

If From was on Netflix, it would be as popular as Stranger Things.
Completely agree
I've always said the same about Justified. If it would have been in Netflix it would have been as big as Breaking Bad
It is absolutely one of the best shows on television.
Wife and I both love it
