I didn't think anyone did. I've never seen it so, i don't have an opinion either way.

Given that you are a similar age as me, I’m not sure any movie from “childhood” counts lol.
I liked a lot of shite that i would never like now and will never not like because of nostalgia.
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls is like one of my favorite movies of all time

Some reasons outside the movie why it has a nostalgia factor for me, but I still crack up every time watching its stupidity.

This was one of the first DVDs I ever owned. I love that movie and still occasionally sing "Backdoor Lover" to myself.

Wyatt Earp. It lived in the shadow of Tombstone, but it is just fine on its own. I like both of them. Also, it hews much closer to the real story than the preposterously freewheeling Tombstone.
Ditto Waterworld.
Bicentennial Man. Never understood the hate. It's a legit tearjerker and takes on some pretty weighty philosophical themes.

Movie you like that most people dislike
We do this thread every now and then around here, and my response is always if TV shows count then my answer is Seinfeld.
If I have to stick with movies: Alien 3

The Star Wars prequels
I think this board would be quite surprised to find out the younger generation that grew up with up with the prequels hold them in pretty high regard.
I know they were criticized at release but I always see videos now of people around college aged defending them as great movies.
