No Way Home is pretty easily in first place for me.

Dune was good.

Movies I have seen in 2021: No Way Home, Godzilla vs Kong, Black Widow, Free Guy, Dune, Nobody, No Time to Die, Suicide Squad, Shang Chi, Raya and the Last Dragon

That has to be the least movies I have seen in one year in a long while. Though there are quite a few that I still have on my list to watch soon.

Dune was fun.

Black Widow was surprisingly good. Funny too.

Shang-Chi was a blast.

No Way Home was fricking awesome.

I’m seeing Licorice Pizza tomorrow and suspect it will creep in

I agree with a previous poster about The Rescue … incredible story and filmmaking. Liking the love for CODA since I worked on it and really took the job because of the stellar script.

Also enjoyed C’mon C’mon and Red Rocket …and Summer of Soul stood out

Belfast to me was sappy and boring … but will win 8 Oscars likely

Spider-Man has given 2021 a movie to go out on a high note with. Granted my 2021 movies are small, but it was the most fun I’ve had in a theater since in a long while.

Dune told half a story, the movie was incomplete. It's like lets set up the characters and not tell a story.

Watched the wrath of man tonight. Maybe a recency bias but I think that's my favorite of 2021 that I've seen

Zack Snyder's Justice League.

This was the best comic book movie of 2021.

I liked NWH and tSS but JL rerelease was genuinely good.

CODA was the best movie by far

I had never heard of this movie until I read this yesterday. I just watched it. It was fantastic, nice rec! And it featured one of my favorite songs, so that was a nice bonus. Also, it was smart of them to not subject us to too much of the full choir.

Coming 2 America
Clifford The Big Red Dog (first half or so before my kid got bored)

I'm going to give it to Dune.

Spider-Man was the first movie I've seen in theaters since COVID hit. It was pretty badass.

I liked Dune. Visually fantastic and the acting was good. It just felt so incomplete from a story perspective.

Because it is incomplete. The rest of the story is actually quite a bit more intense.

It was definitely my favorite theatre experience of the year. No Way Home was pretty fun too. I had a feeling I was going to like free guy just bc of Ryan Reynolds, but it was much better than I was thinking. Jodie Comer is so hot
