I really don't care about an actors opinion. If the movie looks interesting, I'll watch it. If not, then I won't.

And not because I give a shite about her politics or anything like that. It just doesn't look very good to me, and I'm not a big fan of seeing movies that look terrible or that I don't give a shite about.

Too many people on this board are getting worked up over this actress. It's weird. To me, she just seems like an actress that hasn't been properly trained for interviews. It's the media that keeps asking her silly questions and she's falling for it.

I'm just tired of the combination of obnoxious actors and perpetual outrage. So I'll just not go to see it and hope both the actor in question and the story disappear.
I confess to a bit of jealousy towards a lot of these nitwit actors though. If I just went around saying dumb shite where I worked there would be more consequences.

And? While the media prompted her, she’s the one that answered showing what she truly feels.

True-the media people are idiots to interject stupid questions into interviews. Questioning the sexuality of a comic book character is a little ridiculous. However, the added idea that she is "pissing off the right kind of people" when mentioning Christian fathers...I would not pay my $20 and contribute to the company that hired her.

First time I saw her as young Rhaenyra on HoD I said it: she looks like a monkey.

Meh. I get her point and agree to the extent of people trashing her as Supergirl without even seeing the movie yet, while especially agreeing with the anon trolls (who also haven't seen the movie yet).
Where she's going to have trouble is if this movie is the stinker we're getting from early reviews. You can dismiss critique when those making the comments are just guessing and/or dogpiling, but it's a totally different thing to attempt to dismiss critiques which are based on first-hand experience.
