Idk man, I tend to operate by the principles of listening to someone tell you they don't want you to watch their stuff, and usually if you eventually watch it, it sucks.

To what scale though? And from what perspective?
Per previous points, this could be largely manufactured. Even your perception here could just be in error. What if there aren't a lot of "christian" accounts saying these things? Then your perception that this "absolutely happens online," may be skewed.
Not to say that there aren't ACTUAL people like that, but you don't know to what degree, and your perception and her perception could be tinted with this falsehood.
The problem is, Hollywood doesn't really hide it's disdain for Christianity either. Chicken and egg though.
