Been trying to watch it, but I think I'm done. The main character is an insufferable, selfish count. She just gets worse and worse.

I enjoyed it start to finish. The incredible Brownstone was a main character in this.

The atmosphere initially is great, and the scenery is spectacular. Hartnett is really good. But as someone said back in this thread, it completely goes off the rails. It wasn't sure what it ultimately wanted to be, I think (or- I thinks, as the script on the show would dictate).

Well, I finished it- I kept hoping it was all going to come together. But no, it's one of the worst things I've devoted time to on Netflix, which is saying something.

SPOILERS:

The little island close by that he landed on- were we supposed to know the main guy? Was he a character early in the show? And the black headed chick was so distraught that they were leaving her- yet she could come and go as she pleased, as evidenced by her coming to "seduce" Wade? And what was the stuff they were smoking that came from "Mudder"? And how did they get it in the first place? And how is there an army presence in the area, yet 5 of them just jump out of the helicopter, but no one can seem to catch them? And this thing is a killing machine, but in the end, it turned into Free Squid Willy?

Unmitigated garbage.
