Lightyear should have been to boys as Frozen was with girls. Every boy worldwide should have wanted to see this film, but they fricked it up.

I dont think you understand how much disney despises and hates boys.

Im sure theres nothing little boys love more than 2 black lesbian women kissing.

Even star wars has become female-centric with anti-masculinity pro-feminist themes. I don't expect this to change for some time, if ever. I would never let my kids watch anything disney made within the last 10 years or so.

Coco may be the most conservative animated movie in the past 15 years. Lesson: Do not give up your family for money, power, and fame, because in the end they’re the ones truly there for you.

I thought the last Jedi was a terrible movie, and directly impacted me not wanting me to see any Star Wars movies in theaters again.

The Last Jedi actually killed my love for Star Wars. I couldn't care less about the franchise anymore and I don't even have a desire to re-watch the original trilogy either.

Same. (and points to you for using the correct version of "couldn't care less")

I still haven't seen the last one.

After a lot of talking it up by some SW nerd friends and a borrowed login to Disney +, I watched the Mandalorian and was so pleasantly surprised that I actually felt the stirring of some hidden glimmer of SW love still in me.

Then The Book of Boba Fett stomped that flat and took a steaming shite on it.

I have zero interest in Obi Wan, or any other SW title.

frick Disney and everything they excrete from their woke shitters.

This

It destroyed the characters and the values and the value of the original material.

They would have to take back the new material and apologize for what they have been doing. I don't think that will ever happen so they can frick off now and forever

Kind of feel the same. I read the board discussion on obi wan and I just DGAF about seeing it. Disney sucked the life out of Star Wars.

Spot on.

And I hate that it's come to this. I loved going to Disney World as a kid, and I love what Walt himself created. But the brand nowadays is barely recognizable.

While the series overall was ok, the last 5/6? minutes were the best 5/6 minutes of TV I have ever seen. Hell, I still go back and watch reaction videos.

I am little ways into it and not really enjoying it. I may just quit.

Disney has ruined ESPN also. I just watch College Sports(LSU) and that’s it.

Solo was a decent movie and should have done better. TLJ soured the fanbase to "frick you" levels

i need to rewatch Solo.
I didn't go see it as a frick you to the Last Jedi, and i sure as hell didn't go see whatever the last movie was called.

my 10 year old has asked me twice now to go see Lightyear, and i just tell him everyone says its terrible and we aren't wasting our time and money on it. And I feel bad about doing that.

Prepare for that glorious last 5/6 minutes to be made irrelevant and covered in mouse feces.

No. They could have made a good Buzz Lightyear movie, instead they decided to call him a piece of shite. I’ve read the synopsis, and just the plot, I’m amazed how much they fricked it up. Seriously, kids will leave the theater saying “…That wasn’t Buzz.” Kids are actively giving this movie the finger. That’s how bad it is. It’s not Last Airbender bad, but it’s close on how disappointing it is for kids. They know who Buzz is, and this isn’t him.

agreed. Don't take your kids to see this movie. Two women don't make a baby boy. Dont let them think that is a thing.

Nobody was begging for this to be made. There was zero excitement/buildup to its release, bad marketing, and there's no Woody. This movie had no shot at crushing it at the box office.
And people were begging for Minions which is about to crush the weekend?

Not to mention Thor comes out in two weeks and will likely gross well over a billion. Even if Lightyear fails, it’s the equivalent of dropping a dollar on the ground and finding a hundred dollar bill later.
Thor comes out next week… how the hell did Minions pull it off?

This movie is barely going to break 100 million domestically?

Their carpet munching sermon cost these retards about 900 million dollars.
