Hope Season 3 is a good one. Because I won’t watch it without Cavill.

That’s a lot of DC dog shite. If WB is trying to fast track this shite, James Gunn made a mistake.

They need to build the DC verse back up from the ground with Gunns vision. Nit the remnants of Snyders trash arse vision.

It's definitely the Superman role. He did an interview a few days ago and you can just see how happy he is to be playing Superman again.

why is he leaving the show?

there were rumours a couple of months back about Cavill being cast in future House of the Dragon seasons....could this be related?

I’m pretty sure Cavill was the only thing keeping S2 on the rails, guess S4 will tell us if the rumors he was the one constantly correcting the showrunners were true or not.

I read This and had to Google if there was some kind of weird British April fools day in October.

This is trash.

In his defense, MoS wasn't supposed to be the start of a shared universe. Knee jerk reaction from WB did that. Then they had to jump straight in to a team up without the benefit of a decade of solo films, but also somehow keep it at or below 2.5 hours. No fricking way that works.

The extended cut of BvS and ZSJL are way more coherent than what we got in the theater. Have their flaws for sure, but the whole thing reeked of studio battle from the start.

WB seems to have gotten their shite together post merger with Gunn and the other executives they poached. Probably the most optimistic I've been for DC since MoS.

Liam is a good actor.

But he can't pull off "tortured, brooding, loner, badass"

At the rate they are going, Geralt won't even be in the show for season 4.

I've heard Gunn and company are looking for a 10 year plan, which effectively will be a rebuild, via course change.

Initially, it looks like they're headed in the right direction. That could fall apart but we'll see.

Lmao. Given how epically their vision has failed, maybe they should.

I think it has more to do with the writing and the direction the show is headed. The Superman stuff all came together pretty quickly and recently. The timelines seem different.

Given how big a fan he is, it’s pretty much gotta be this. Combined with how the writers/producers not liking even how close they already came to the books. They want to shift further away from something that left Cavil already unhappy.
