My daughter will be 4 this summer, so she's all about some Disney movies. She's watched the frozen movies countless times. A couple months ago, after the shipwreck, she asked what happened to the parents and my wife told her they died. A few hours later, she came over to give us hugs and said "I don't want my mommy and daddy to die"

That depressing shite permeates Disney kids movies.

Can we just say "the opening montage of UP" from now on?

This movie consistently gets lauded for what is essentially just that opening montage.

All Dogs Go To Heaven was sad as hell too

An American Tale is another that is just a depressing all around movie.
