He's the one cast member you didn't realize at the time just how great he actually was and look back now and say, yeah, he will be on some all-time's list. You also probably need to credit Mulaney too for some of the writing they did together.

“Barry” is the best SNL alum work in last 10 years besides Veep so yeah he’s HOF (Come at me Ted Lasso fans)

Controversial take of SNL Mt Rushmore based on total body of work:

Julia Louise Dreyfus is near the top of list based on Seinfeld and Veep

What has he done since SNL besides a shitty amy schumer movie, commercials, and a james franco roast?

But Hader is an all-timer? Maybe not mt. Rushmore but definitely HOF right?

Maybe not HOF but he is up there as one of the greater ones to come out of SNL. He and Jason Sudeikis were there around the same time and they both hit it out of the park post SNL

He’s definitely one of the greatest of all time and I think the most talented of his class. He reminds me a lot of Robin Williams.

Stefan will always be one of my favorite characters/acts

Or the 80s. Eddie Murphy should definitely be on there. He's the only reason that the show made it through the early 80s.

And near the very bottom of the list, if you go by their time on SNL.

You are obviously a child of the 90s with this list. No original cast member OR Eddie Murphy is an absolute travesty of a list

Late 00's/early 10's SNL is criminally, criminally underrated. It was stellar up until Wiig, Hader, Samberg, and Armisen left the show. Then it went from "must-watch TV" to "what the frick even is this shite?" literally overnight.

Dan Akryod

Hader is definitely in the list of one of the greatest, but as far Rushmore goes....i can't argue with Belushi, Akryord or Murphy, but in my opinion Hartman HAS TO BE. and I would take Carvey even over Bill Murray and Chevy Chase. Not talking at all about the star power they did after the show, just SNL itself. I mean Chevy was only on for 1 year. Dana Carvey and Phil Hartman saved that show and made it a pop culture icon through the late 80's and mid 90's, just my opinion

He did a skit with Julia Louise Dreyfuss that was freaking hysterical.

He was playing some kind of Italian talk show host with her, introducing her new TV show "New Adventures of Old Christina."

I swear, I'd love to see that clip again. I've searched for it, and can't find it.

No. The only thing i remember him doing is Stefan, which was never funny. He was outclassed by his contemporaries like Samberg and Armisen too. I do think he is talented though and is doing some great work post SNL.
