I guess you could also say Apocalypse Now, but I don't really classify that as a war film.

Darkest Hour is still in some theaters, I believe. More political than action but still a great, great WWII movie.

It's one of the most expensive, grandest, most extras and most directors of all-time. That sounds like a mess but it's not. Rod Steiger, Orsen Welles, Christopher Plummer.

It's a war movie worth owning.
