Depends on whether we pass the eye test.
If we lose, we still win, because we always beat ourselves.

re: All-Time SEC Standings (1933-2025)

Going 6-3 in the SEC next year (.667) would be better than historical averages for everyone except Alabama and yet at least half of the teams would see it as a disappointment.
re: Irish Dave….is this payback for 1966?

We don’t claim 1966 even though we were undefeated two time defending champs. I guarantee Auburn would claim it in the same scenario.

Probably has something to do with the greatest coach of all time retiring
Cheating how?
Alabama advocated against NIL, unlimited transfers, expanding the playoff, and a 9 game SEC schedule, and most here criticized us for it, said we were afraid of parity, etc

This has nothing to do with Georgia. Just wishful thinking for a way to have things more orderly and based solely on on-field results.
Go back to divisions
Posted by Decker on 12/7/25 at 9:39 pm
Hear me out.
Division 1: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, South Carolina
Division 2: LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma
This preserves all of the real rivalries.
Each team plays 7 round robin games and the divisions are seeded 1-8. Number 1 from division 1 plays number 2 from division 2 and vice versa. The winners play for the conference championship. The losers play for 3rd place. All of the other teams play similar 4 team mini tourneys so that everyone plays 9 conference games.
The CFP automatically takes the teams that finish 1-4 and seeds them according to their finish in the conference. Non conference games don’t count for the playoff seeding. The CFP can take extra teams if they are deemed worthy. In the event that 3 teams finish 6-1 in a division, whichever team finishes third by the tiebreakers is also guaranteed a spot in the playoff if it can finish with 1 loss by winning its last two conference games and ending up fifth.
The biggest negative is not playing teams from the other division on a regular basis. One solution would be allowing teams to schedule games against the other division that don’t count toward conference standings.

I understand how hard this type of reading comprehension is for an LSU fan. Don’t feel bad.
re: Flex 9 schedule to protect players and get the best SEC teams into CFB
Posted by Decker on 12/7/25 at 7:59 pm to ryanthe4aces
The idea of incorporating the sec championship into the ninth game isn’t bad. The conference will never do it but it isn’t bad.
If we are going to do that, why not spend the first five weeks playing scheduled games (including rivalry games) that are used to seed for a 16 team sec playoff that culminates in a championship? Once you lose you enter the losers bracket. Teams end up playing for every spot in the conference.

He’s actually saying Alabama and Oklahoma have a lot in common.
Who is this Alabama you speak of? Certainly not the team that looked like dog shite yesterday.
Love Mark. His suit was cutting off his circulation last night.
I’d rather play the ole Miss Tulane winner than the Miami TAMU winner.

You guys just claimed that as a title. If you had to play three playoff games that year, odds are you lose. Guess it worked out better for you the way it is.

2. LSU fans are whiny bitches.

Just a public service announcement, the committee will not be reading whiny complaints on this board and changing their minds
