Yep I think he’s from the same time as the buffalo. In his barn he keeps a very old picture who I assume to be his parents.
And Tillerson definitely knows about the Void. He was either there when Royal came out of it as a kid or he came through the Void with Royal as kids.

Watched all 6 overnight. Reminds me of Donnie Darko.
I definitely think Autumn is older Amy. I went back and watched the first few minutes of ep 1 and it seems to give clues that it is. Unless it’s misdirection.
When Amy draws the picture of the family and gives it to Royal she has them all wearing yellow which is a theme with Autumn.
Also you can hear Amy talking about a stargazer story like Autumn tells Billy. It kinda trails off as they walk in another room and it helps to have captions on but it’s there. Didn’t go any further than that.
Another thing I got to thinking about is how Amy gets cut by glass on her forehead at the end of ep 6. Usually those kinds of things aren’t random so I looked through some images of Autumn on Google and granted they don’t all show it but if you zoom into a couple at the hairline above her left eye seems to be something there. Maybe?

Billy seeing the hole will make for good tv. He is one of the more interesting characters. Nothing like his 2 brothers

Some were wearing yellow and some were wearing blue, just like people were wearing in the scene from the future. Not sure what it all means but Autumn says the color yellow stands for power (late night barn scene with Royal).

Couple of thoughts -

I get the Tillerson dead body only going forward a few days - but how the heck did it get from the hole halfway up a mountain? When Royal came out, it was right at the hole.
No doubt in my mind Royal is a bad guy. Not maybe the classical bad guy, but the guy so intent on something specific he'll do whatever is necessary to see it through/protect it.
There is a lot of religious reference for a science show - I've been considering the angel theme - as in maybe Royal or someone is an angel or demon, but I can't work out the details.
I don't get why Royal would hurt Autumn like that, burn her camp, but leave her, with all the information she knows, so that she can reveal any number of things.
Lots of unanswered questions.

Yeah, it's obvious that Tillerson and Royal have some very close ties. It's more than just neighboring ranches for years.

She doesn’t remember anything before she was 9. Amy may be 9 now and I have a feeling she is about to go down the hole. And I also have a feeling the person she’s been talking to on the phone is her mother Rebecca.
