Royal has been dead 2 years
The Abbott family no longer owns the land
Royal appeared to the future people after the body went through
How did they not find the belt buckle with that many people watching the hole?
But I think they were waiting for him though. His wife was not at all surprised and a Tillerson was there waiting to shoot him.
Also keep in mind it seemed they knew Royal or something/someone else was coming through because they had it counting down to the exact second.

Yeah when Royal was pushed in the hole and met his wife on the other side, she said the land no longer belonged to them.

I don’t think it’s a good show, like at all, but I’ll be having a sixer every Friday night and enjoy the ride. It’s a weird good time.

I'm starting to lean this way. I was super excited after the first episode, but the last two episodes have been kind of a downer. I definitely plan to finish, but I have more questions than the supernatural.
1. What's the deal with the singing guy from Schitt's Creek. I thought for sure he was going to do something bad to Perry's daughter, but then the scene just ended after he sung.
2. Why does Tillerson love Clamata so much? Why are the scenes of him being super weird obnoxiously long?
3. How did they think it was a good idea to do the cliche 5 card poker with one person having a flush while the other person miraculously pulled out a full house? I know Royal cheated, but still.
5. Does all of Wyoming have lighting issues or is it just this town? I imagine it's a community pride thing to use as little electricity as possible to do whatever you are doing.
On a serious note. I definitely started getting vibes that Royal is not the good guy in the show. When you start breaking it down, he sounds like the antagonist:
1. Chunked a dead guy into the hole to hide the body.
2. Stole evidence
3. Cheated at high stakes poker
4. Won't show his family the hole to have them help him. It seems weird that he is trying to keep it to himself.
5. Threatened a government official
6. It definitely looked like they were trying to paint him as some dark figure during the poker game. He was in the shadows and seemed ominous.

Their hair isn't remotely the same color. If that's the case that wasn't the best casting. No one's hair gets blonder as they age.

Yeah I thought there was a moment where he was going to tell his wife.
But I think Old Man Tillerson knows about the hole as well. I just don't know what context.

Ok then.
Well then I'm saying Mom. Someone made reference to her being a hippie chick and she already acknowledged she's in a cult.
Royal would've been born during the 60's, so it fits.
I guess she could be his granddaughter but I don't think that's as interesting.

Plenty of online theories that Autumn is the granddaughter.
Obviously, the hole doesn’t take you back to the same point in time each time since the body went a few days into the future and Royal went years. What’s interesting is when Royal went back through the hole, why did it send him back to the same time?

Yep. She can’t remember before she was 9. And she always remembered that symbol which turned out to be the ranch brand. Good theories, but I’m not 100% sold on it.
Let’s say Autumn is 20, and the granddaughter only remembers to 9. That’s 11 years we are missing.
Did she go in the hole? But why didn’t she go to the future? Did she go 11 years in the past?
Does she know who she is? She didn’t seem too weird when she met her father in the bar. But…she did ask to see a picture of his missing wife out the blue and very curiously. Like she wanted to see what her mom looked like.
Then we have the missing mother to account for. That has to have something to do with it as well.

So, Tillerson knows about the hole. He drove out there and found it at the end of the last (4th) episode.
He keeps staring at his bison head and talking to it, which seems to tie into the bison that keeps showing up. Not sure what that critter's significance is; and really unsure about the mountain disappearing when Royal touched the necklace. Seems to be some really crazy shite just beneath the surface.
Who knows, maybe they've all been put in an alien zoo and Royal's found the entrance?
