The jokes in the trailer all fell flat. If that was the best they had I can see why it’s at 0.

im AMC Alist - so it cost me really nothign to see it - and thankfully so - i would have been pissed otherwise - but its a rehash of jokes from talladega nights and others - and they just weren't good this time.
redbox it if you are bored - save the theater cost

Damn I was excited to see this. Love Ferrell and Riley together. I never expect sterling critical reviews for a film like this, but 0%?! Lawd.

The wife and I saw the commercial for it yesterday and our first thoughts were------"HUH"
Will Ferrell and John C. Reiley as Holmes and Watson---I don't think so.
I watched a lot of Sherlock Holmes movies as a kid with Basil Rathbone and he played it seriously with spurts of mild humor. I can't see these 2 goofballs doing that.

I actually started to nod off in the theater.

The selfie bit is cringe worthy.

I dont know if this is any good or not but I think it’s funny how this board pick and chooses when to respect the opinion of RT

And with the awesome BBC series and upcoming RDJ third installment, I have quality Holmes to look forward to.

I think any comedy with a shite critics and audirence score is pretty much a lock to suck
Sometimes arty movies that are excellent have lower popcorn scores and sometimes funny movies with bad critical receptions have good popcorn scores, but it’s hard to think of any movies that are incredibly low with both that are worthwhile

I think Ferrel's schtick is sort of done. Which happens.
Remember when Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler were the kings of the box office? Sometimes you just wear out your welcome.

Thanks for the heads up guys.
I can't stand "Will Ferrell Movies", but like some movies he's in. Thought this had a chance to be one I'd like.

Carrey decided to forsake comedy for drama.
Sandler got lazy and decided to start taking scripts that got his friends a payday and/or sent him to desirable locations.
What’s Ferrell’s excuse?

It wasn’t really funny. Don’t need to see it in Theaters, or at all really.

The leads aren't funny, only halfwits and retards think Will Ferrell is funny.
Anyone who thought spoofing Sherlock Holmes would be a good ideal should be shot by an ar15 or killed by global warming.

Saw it last night. The jokes suck, many sequences are drug out too long, characters are weak, story is even weaker.
Lazy writing and forced comedy killed any chance this film had.

They literally had a 10 minute break in the middle of film where they put down the President. Horrible writing, we get it Ferrell, you hate Trump. I didn’t need that, not because I may or may not support Trump but because it was obvious what they were doing.

It was bound to suck being PG-13. Should have been hard R like Step Brothers

Will Ferrell is the king of "funny concept, shitty execution" movies

uh, Without a Clue is a great spoof of Holmes. Kingsley and Caine are terrific in it
