And of course, R had no plan to feed a city after she spent months or years starving it with a blockade.

Of course, she couldn't let the peasants hunt anything other than rabbits in the King's forest.

Lots of questions here.

If Daemon takes the boy why would you leave the dragon?? What’s it going to do, eoam around Westeros and become wild?

You take the dragon who can only be riden by its rider, you’d know immediately if he was a fake.

Just a big plot hole to me to take the boy and leave the dragon. Makes no sense.

I’ve heard people say he should have taken the dragon. How do you do that without letting the prince ride it? Couldn’t he try to get away? If not him ride it, then how? Would the dragon listen to him if he said follow us? I don’t think they could just strap it to a flatbed or something.

Make the Prince ride it back to Kings Landing. He can’t get away from/defeat 3 dragons. It’d be suicide. And if you try to pawn off a fake prince the dragon won’t have it.

Just a major oversight by Daemon that seems out of character.

Yes, Daemon should have made sure the dragon knew him, but as far as riding home, how do we know that that dragon is not super fast or something?

Episode 2 ended with daemon and rhaenyra surrounded by dozens of people that wanted to kill them in the throne room.
Am I to just assume they slayed all of them? The episode ended on a bit of a cliffhanger then we go to the next episode and it’s like that never happened.

I think you missed the last several minutes of ep 2. Speaking of ep 2, when Daemon is in the prison cells he freed some people. Do we know who they are?

Then the guard tells him he has a gift (Otto) from Larys Strong. I'm still unsure what game Larys is playing. Why would he give Otto to Daemon?

If you go back and watch, the leader of the Gold Cloaks (the City Watch that Daemon used to lead in earlier seasons) swore their allegiance to Daemon and Rhaenyra. Forcing the Hightower men (that moved in between Daemon and Rhaenyra and the throne) to surrender since they were outnumbered.

There was no cliffhanger with that.

I thought episode 3 was kind of a wasted episode. Other than the boy pretending to be a Targ there wasn’t much there.
Rhaenyra made a bunch of stupid decisions throughout the episode, but most of those decisions shouldn’t be held against her because she told us she had just started her period.

Daemon and Rhaenyra were confronted by all of those knights who looked like they'd kill them both. Then, the gold cloaks came in and twist revealed that they supported Daemon. The knights were all arrested. After that, they released the prisoners from the dungeons and that was most of the crowd that was there when Rhaenyra killed Otto.

IDK about wasted. I think it was to show the blacks are in over their head. They aren't prepared to deal with the litany of issues that THEY created in KL with thier blockade. AND they aren't even winning the war the way they think they are.

The Targ switch was the only real issue. Daemon has been portrayed as smart and never would have just left Tessarion with the greens which would have exposed the deceit.

Like me, you seemed to have fallen asleep

I had to rewatch the last 20 minutes. I didn't even know Aemond was stabbed that episode. I woke up the next day kind of disappointed in the episode. After finishing it, it was pretty solid outside of the ridiculously stupid rape scene and Larys/Aegon escape scene.

Larys is after power for himself and he's cunning and manipulative about it. He can manipulate Aegon and Alicent, but Otto is too wise for Larys to fool.

Larys probably knew that Otto would be executed if Daemon ever got his hands on him. Remember that Larys is a master of whispers, so maybe he was aware that Alicent secretly went to meet with Rhaenyra. If so, then serving up Otto's head on a platter for Daemon / Rhaenyra to take could drive a wedge in whatever peace that Alicent was trying to make with Rhaenyra. And at the same time, Larys permanently removes the biggest obstacle he has within the greens for him to be the king's right foot man while the blacks are the ones who swing the sword and will get the blame from Alicent, Aegon, and Aemond.

Plot wise it moved the story along, but I thought the score and way they shot Rhaenyra moving through KL did a really good job of building tension and showing her being overwhelmed.

All 3 episodes this season have been better than anything in season 2.

It would've been a good idea, but I don't think Daemon even considered that the boy might be an imposter.

I also think there was concern of what might happen if Daeron or his dragon don't cooperate. It would've almost certainly led to his death, even if Daemon or the other riders tried to restrain their dragons.

I don't think Daemon wanted to chance another "Storm's End" incident and lose Daeron when he was expected to bring him back alive.

Which is a huge plot hole. If the viewers considered it, the military leader should have thought of it.

When combatants and/or POWs don't cooperate, they die. Not to mention Daemon told Rhaenyra she'd have to kill him anyway.

Its a full on war at this point. I don't think they are concerned with people dying. Hell they are actually trying to kill these people. Season 1 Daemon burns the kid alive in front of the Hightower army. Realizes the dragon doesn't really react and then destroys the hightowers.

I do not believe anyone mention that we start to see the Queen go mad. There were, IMO, quite a few moments where they showed her confused and mentally disengaged. Am I the only one that noticed this, that the queen is losing it under stress.

Her cheese is definitely sliding off the cracker. At the very least she’s incredibly overwhelmed and even if she’s not full on Targaryen mad, she’s not very stable mentality.
