I expect them to get back to their roots with a more linear game next outing whenever that is. They pushed the BoTW/ToTK formula far enough. I enjoyed playing them but have no desire to replay them anytime soon.
Yeh Riccardo is a brand ambassador for Raptor trucks now.

Cool picture of Yuki as the car was burning down.
Red Bull had a show run in San Francisco yesterday. It did not go great.

The reason is that some manufacturers were pushing for a ‘hot-only’ test in order to configure their power units to exceed the 16:1 limit when cold and then have them drop down to the regulation limit when up to operating temperature.

The cold and hot test would thwart that plan, essentially because the ‘compliant at all times’ part of the regulations originally used against Mercedes would, in this case, be used against those complaining.

The technical backdrop to this is that most power units (with the apparent exception of the Mercedes) loses compression ratio as it gains temperature.

A former power unit technical boss has explained to The Race that typically an engine with a 16:1 compression ratio when cold would drop to around 15.2-15.2:1 in operation because although the con rod expands, the block expands more.
James Vowles was asked about the innovative Ferrari rear wing. He said anything unusual you see in testing falls into two categories, either all the teams have thought about it and dismissed it, or they haven't - and within 24 hours the experts back at the factories will have produced data as to whether it is worth considering.

When pushed, he admitted this fell into the second category - so the rest of the teams will be hard at work tonight crunching some numbers to see if it is an idea that is worth pursuing.
Only problem I’ve seen from Audi could be fixed with some heat tape or a small heat shield.

Isn’t there a rule about teams not being allowed to participate if they are too slow?
According to Juan Pablo Montoya they are hiding 4-5 seconds worth of pace.

I played it with a friend online and we had a blast. Seemed kinda short tho, the ending snuck up on me.

After reading a plot synopsis after beating it, I realized I didn’t have a clue what was going on most of the time with the story.

Maybe the 3 upcoming DLCs will explain it more.
Ferrari pulling another trick out of their bag today. This rear wing could actually create lift on the straights instead of just lessening downforce.

“It is understood that the Ferrari design is a test item and is being run in Bahrain as part of an evaluation study – so it is something that may or may not be carried into the season.”

Reported to be worth 8-10kph on the straights

I can't wait to see Hamilton flip-flop and say "these cars are great."

This has already started.
“The car's performance so far is truly exciting me. Working with next-generation cars is a very different experience; we're trying to solve everything from scratch and in real time.”

“Last year, I had to race with a car with a foundation I took over from someone else. But this year's car is a model that I've personally developed at the simulator for the last 8-10 months. It literally has my DNA in it, so I feel much more attached to this car.”

That’s what I was looking at ha. I found a picture that shows what it looked like last week for comparison.

“The new aerodynamic element is likely aimed at delivering two key benefits for car performance. It could help make use of diverting exhaust gases to help with the way they interact with the rear wing air flow.”

“Furthermore, it could be acting as an extension of the diffuser airflow, aimed to help improve performance here and deliver greater downforce.”
Looks like Ferrari have figured out a way to create downforce from the exhaust. Not quite a blown diffuser but close. They waited til the last day of testing to show it off.

A ford driver at the Bathurst 12 hour smoked a kangaroo at 140 kph.

“I just had to throw up, I had to vomit,” he said of his earlier reaction.

“The smell was incredible. I already had two showers. I still have the smell in my nose. I can tell you the inside of a kangaroo doesn’t smell very nice.”

This was his helmet after.

That looks not good, they using all electric for the launch? Seems like it goes quiet on launch and then the engine kicks back in a second later.

If they give the 22nd car to line up that much time the cars in the front are gonna be starting on cold tires.
If you are only checking the scores for SEC teams then the SEC website is the best I’ve found.
