Alonso into the wall. Was being interviewed about the wreck and the interviewer said “An unusual wreck for you, what happened” and Alonso said basically “I was pushing all out, was up to P14 so I was 7 or 8 positions ahead of where this car should be” That might be paraphrased a bit but Alonso and I both laughed after he said it.
It just started so I guess that was wrong

Albon not participating, needed a new power unit and gear box

“But I mean, whose opinion do you really care about?” Alcock said. “If you’re p—ing the right kind of people off, you’re doing OK.”

The actress suggested much of the hostility directed toward her comes from faceless social media users reacting emotionally online.

“And it’s from a lot of people whose profiles have no photo, who are burner accounts,” Alcock said. “Or someone’s name and then ‘Dad of four, Christian,’ which is hilarious to me.”
Ayao Komatsu came out firing in defense of Ocon during an interview

??? Ayao Komatsu, Esteban Ocon's boss, faced the media and flew into a black rage over the latest rumors! ??

After defending his driver, he went straight after the journalists who wrote and spread these reports.

"Oh my God. Let's start with this, this f***ing s*** rumor. Honestly, I have no idea at all where this story came from. No basis, absolutely none. It's total nonsense. If someone wants to write that kind of bullshite, fine, but damn it, is this still journalism? I don't know. It's awful.

What are they trying to achieve? It's completely insane. No basis, absolutely none. Has any one of you ever heard me say something like that? Yes or no? It's unbelievable.

I spoke with him this morning, but for me, there's absolutely nothing to defend on our side. It's unbelievable. Part of this story claims there was a problem with Esteban in Miami, right? But where the hell did that come from? I didn't have the slightest argument with Esteban in Miami. It's mind-blowing how completely made up all this is.

And then, since no one checks sources, everyone piles on more lies on top. How can you call that journalism? It's just a f***ing s*** rumor.

Esteban is worried, his manager is worried. But Esteban knows full well we had no argument in Miami, no concrete facts. This morning, we were just laughing about it, wondering: 'What the hell is this?' So I said I'd clear it up once and for all, because it's absolutely and totally false, pure stupidity.

Lots of Japanese sites want to create stories saying I'd want to recruit Yuki or something like that. There's absolutely no basis for it, so I don't pay any attention.

Then a French journalist picks it up. But damn it, if you're a French journalist, what are you doing to your own country's driver? By spreading that kind of story just for clicks, are you trying to sink your French driver? What's the goal? It's absurd.

When you write an article, you check your sources, right? Seriously, when I was a kid, I wanted to be an investigative journalist. So when I read stuff like this, damn it, doesn't the person writing it have any shame?

By writing nonsense with no basis, you lose all credibility. Any media outlet that spreads that kind of bullshite loses its credibility, at least in my eyes. It's not even a distortion of what I said: there are no facts. Nothing to do with what I said, because I never said any of that. It's unbelievable

https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/fernando-alonso-f1-lost-a-full-decade-of-pure-racing-overtakes-are-now-avoiding-actions

Asked where the best overtaking spots can be found around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the Spaniard explained that overtaking is no longer an art.

"On the straights, when you have more battery than the others,” he added. “It will be very easy. And it will not be overtaking, it's just an avoiding action.

"When you have more battery than the others, the other ones clip, so they reduce 500 horsepower. Then you have 500 horsepower more than the others, you take an avoiding action, and then you overtake a car."
Ruptured appendix or diverticulitis?
140-150 maybe. I think the intimidation factor from the track itself would be the main hindrance. Carrying speed into those big banked turns would be scary.
Crazy picture of one of the MotoGP wrecks this morning. While crashing, the riders leg went into the rear of another bike and got pinned. The other bike locked up and went tumbling thru the gravel with the riders leg still wedged in. Rider survived but is dealing with some serious injuries.

Yeh that sucks. Looks like Mercedes is still gonna get their first win in forever. They probably would have preferred it be Max’s car.

Just saw this highlight of a Mustang almost going airborne.

I missed it what happened to his car?

Max has said he wants to do all the endurance races.
Max just got back in the car for a night stint. His first in the dark. 1 second off the lead.
