“A reported compromise would allow Mercedes-powered teams to race with a non-compliant engine, provided they return to compliance in 2027 — a solution other teams oppose.”
I don’t think every hive person on earth is constantly seeing thru every eye ball on Earth. Once she actually read the chapter then they all knew what was in it but the whole world didn’t pause to read it thru Zosia’s eyes. Would be sensory overload to constantly be seeing thru 7 billion sets of eyes.

I guess Audi really is making their own engines this year? Good for them going all in.

There was a rumor a while back that Porsche was quietly helping them with the engine. Not sure if it was true or just a click bait YouTube video. They are both owned by Volkswagen tho.
Is it weird that anytime Carol yells at them they go into a world wide meltdown but when Monousos holds a knife to one of their throats it’s no big deal?

Didn’t love Zosia all but confirming we will never learn anything about who sent this or why.
I might be crazy but I think you can go to game stop or Best Buy and buy the digital version and it come with an empty case.
Mercedes is providing engines for half the grid next season, between them and Red Bull powertrains that’s 6 outta 11 teams. They might have to allow it and give Ferrari and Honda some extra development time to catch up. Rumor is this only came to light when an employee switched teams and talked.

If my daddy was a billionaire yall would be bitching about me driving in F1 as well.

If you just pretend to be excited about being there I won’t be hating at all.

Lance acts like his daddy is forcing him to be out there.
I often forget about the window licker completely. They never show him on the broadcast until he qualifies 18th or retires early. Doesn’t even seem like he wants to be there
I’m all for trying anything that could lead them back to V-10s. I think it’s good for development to give them the space and opportunity to go in different directions. I don’t like BOP or balance of power racing tho. I think it discourages development when the team that builds the fastest car is forced to make it slower so other teams can keep up. That said I do understand that we can’t have one team show up running rocket fuel or something crazy so there has to be regulations. I’m excited to see actual cars on track.

Turns out that fuel power and not fuel flow will be measured next year. Basically denser energy fuel can be used to save weight and gain power, but less fuel can be flowed if that happens.

That makes it seem like they are expecting teams to show up with wildly different fuel blends this year. It might play a bigger role in the championship than I thought. Is testing fuel power a way to keep everyone close?
You know the cart mentioned in that article would be an absolute blast to rip around the old top gear test track.
So they put out another new Prince of Persia game a few months ago called “the rogue prince of Persia” that is good also. Takes the metroidvania style of the lost crown but adds a roguelite spin on it. Makes the game play much more like Dead Cells.
I think the times the races are held helps NASCAR with viewership. Sunday afternoon is different than Sunday at 6 AM.

Two years ago, while speaking to the Spanish site AS, Palou gave more details and explained: “I wouldn’t be at the level of fighting with Max [in F1 with a Red Bull].

“I know this because I do a lot of simulator work with him and we share a lot of data, and he’s a special case.”
The 2026 McLaren INDYCAR sold for “only” $850K. I think the owner will actually be able to drive it tho.

McLaren sold one of their 2026 F1 cars at an auction a week or so ago. It sold for over $11 million, won’t be delivered to the buyer until 2028, and driving it will count against McLarens “testing of previous cars” allotted time and will be regulated by the FIA

I’m no aviation expert but if this is the actual flight path it seems like they woulda made it back to the runway if they wouldn’t have had to circle back around. If there was a problem why not put it back on the ground as soon as possible? Wind blowing in the wrong direction?

The fuel in the race cars makes up 1% of the total fuel usage of Formula 1.

They have two buttons, Boost and Overtake.

Boost is available at all times as long as your battery is charged.

Overtake is active if you are within 1 second when you pass the detection point. I think it is limited, but you decide when on the lap you want to use it.

ESPN article explaining the new terminology
I think the sustainable fuels are kinda flying under the radar but will make a huge difference in the championship for whoever gets it right. I’m under the impression that each team, or at least each manufacturer, has to design their own sustainable fuel with their partners.

Mercedes- Petronas
Ferrari- Shell
Aston Martin- Aramco

Fernando has said he likes Aston because he thinks Aramco has the best sustainable fuel.

“ FIA has collaborated with Zemo Partnership, an independent provider of assurance services, to develop the Sustainable Racing Fuel Assurance Scheme (SRFAS). This scheme employs a robust third-party verification process to guarantee that all Formula 1 racing fuel meets the FIA's criteria for blended fuel composition and the sustainability of its advanced sustainable components (ASCs).”
