I think she flies this episode. Jorah will either sacrifice himself to save her from the harpies or will die freeing the dragons taking the place of Quentyn. Tyrion will obviously take the place of Barristan.

I was freaking out last night about that, but I was proven wrong. He'll be Bowen Marsh'ed by Ollie and Alliser Thorne.

I am not so sure he has anything to do with it.
I think it's what is to be expected, so he will not have a hand in it.

Thorne is a dick but a somewhat rationally one. I doubt he'll do it
It's got to be Ollie
I really hope some random northan join stanis's "for Ned's girl" in the next episode.

What if that guy in the boat ends up being cold hands. I can hope damn it. He can't pass under the wall but they never said anything about around.
And I guess they aren't going to touch on the fact that the sleeze ball Danny is supposed to marry is after one of her dragons?

Except they showed the guys face.

I think the zombies are more active now because winter is finally here (they must be fueled by magic, so it just stands to reason that they are more active as magic becomes more available).
It's been all I can do to not spoil "the walk" for Mrs Bard. She only just recently started watching the shows and already hates Cersei with a passion.
When the Pitch Perfect gal put her kids on the boat I knew she wasn't going to make it. The foreshadowing on that was so obvious Stevie Wonder could see it.
I made the comment to Mrs. Bard about how I wondered if Valyrian steel would stand up to a white walker, I damned sure wasn't expecting it to work like THAT!
We're now getting into some areas where we are on the same page as the Hodors. I wonder how they are going to take it next season when we are all clueless as to what will be happening?
Ollie is going to be a little bitch. His conversation with Sam says it all. He can't and won't forget nor forgive what the wildlings did, even for the greater good.
fricking Wunn Wunn
I was giddy like a schoolgirl watching him bitch-stomp those zombies! Then he just said "frick it, I'll walk to the boats". Bad assery.
Who/what was the person sitting at the back of Jon's boat? fricker didn't so much as twitch while everyone else in the boat is turned around and shitting themselves at the ultimate "Come At Me Bro". That guy/gal/thing set my spider-sense off.
I think Ramsay is going to try to sneak into Stannis' camp and assassinate him (or at least try to drop some sort of poison in cookpots).
The Dany/Tyrion meeting was excellently done!
I am seeing Jon's stabbing being the season finale. Just leaving that cliffhanger until next season will make Hodors everywhere shite themselves.
Awesome freaking episode!

If there was any doubt in my mind that Jon Snow was my favorite character in these books, the show confirmed it 100%. Jon Snow GOAT

I think Jon still gets the letter in the show. They'll do it one of two ways. Either Reek confesses to Ramsey that he told Sansa about Bran and Rickon still being alive. And Ramsey writes that in the letter and intices Jon by saying he has them/will kill them etc.
Or Sansa sends the letter to Jon and lets him know that Bran and Rickon are alive and she needs his help. And their family needs his help. Which will infuriate Edd and the other NWs brothers because Jon knows first hand the dangers that are en route

Maybe I was seeing what I wanted to see, but I swear when the Thenn guy was looking through the hole in the wall a huge spider walked by mostly obscured by the blizzard.

so both this wildling woman and What the Flula were in Pitch Perfect 2?
shite, I feel like I need to watch it now.
Anyways, great episode. I was pretty disappointed in the fact that they never showed dragonglass against the wights.
I would have loved to see it built up as this great world saving weapon and seeing it shatter against a wights body. Valyrian steel and lots of fire are the only answers to beating that army. But people should certainly carry a dragonglass dagger in case a white walker decides to move to the front lines.
Really love every single second that Peter Dinklage is on screen though. He really makes everyone around him look like much better actors. Even Dany seemed to step up her acting this episode.

Maybe this has already been brought up, but isn't it common now to burn the dead immediately at the wall? How does this even give Jon an opportunity at resurection?
What if they try to burn him, but he rises from the ashes unburnt, as a true Dragon would.

Where are Jon and the wildings boating to if they still have to go through the tunnel at the wall in Ep 9?

I can't take credit for this, but someone on one of the message boards (can't remember if it was Tower of the Hand or Watchers on the Wall) has brought up the dreaded "moat" strategy from Walking Dead:

That was fantastic! So, white walkers can't swim? Everybody just needs a really big moat?
Moats keep out those that can't swim and require air to breath. Not completely sure the wights couldn't just cross a moat and emerge wet on the other side.........
Not like they are going to drown.

i guess they're going to land just north of Eastwatch instead of south of it. I think that doesn't make much sense either

Maybe they get forced to make landfall due to the storm that wrecks ships in the book?

Dude, the Hodor thread is absolute gold right now. It's good to know they figured out that "targrerean steel" is made with dragon glass.
