Hasn't GRRM come out and said that Targs are not all immune to fire, and that the whole Dany thing was just a really magical event?

That's possible. The wights attack ships at Hardhome in the books. Partially why I think there were so many abandoned ships in the background of this episode? Maybe they run into more wights on their sail back.

Or Jon Snow really don't know nothing

Dude, the Hodor thread is absolute gold right now. It's good to know they figured out that "targrerean steel" is made with dragon glass

Wanted to comment on that, but felt the sensitivities might be a bit too high to comment on something with a definite answer.

But the fact that he told Sam he was losing all of his friends kind of hinted that he was already contemplating killing Jon. I don't think it was a threat to Sam, but probably more of a warning as to what was up.
I'm sure he is contemplating it, as he's probably been doing since Jon arrived at the Wall, but if he kills him now based on what we've seen, he'll get no support and would likely be executed on the spot.

If the show gives us the group execution scene we got from the books, it will have to be because he broke his vows.

The show is to blame for many people believing this. Dany's funeral pyre excursion was a one-time thing, fueled by blood magic and who knows what else, not because she herself was ever really immune to fire as a constant thing.

Several Targaryens have come up against fire or extreme heat and lost. Most recently, Viserys took a pot of molten gold to the head and died

Aegon V died in a fire at Summerhall, along with his oldest son, Duncan the Small. Aegon V's own brother, Aerion Brightflame, thought it'd be a good idea to drink wildfire. It killed him.

Yeah, you're a brave soul to post over there. They about had the pitch forks and torches out for me last time I posted over there.

I've decided it's best if I just don't post at all in that thread. But they sure do make it hard not to respond to some of their dumb as hell posts.

No. She also survives being burnt by Drogon when he enters the fighting pit. In subsequent chapters, her hair is once again singed off.

Which really makes no sense, fwiw. If fire doesn't burn her skin, it shouldn't burn her hair either.

So basically even GRRM can't decide whether she is or isn't

Doesn't Arya get her first kill working for the faceless men by giving a dude a poisoned gold coin for him to bite on after studying him for some time?

Yes. The old man always checks each coin by biting into it. She steals a bag of coins from a captain on his way to meet with the old man. She makes a split in the bag and switches one of the captain's coins with her own poisoned coin. She takes off and later on the old man has a heart attack

Those weren't abandoned ships. Those were the ships Jon borrowed from Stannis to sail to Hardhome. They are just to big to sail right up to the shore.

Not only that but at one point before Drogo dies she puts one of the eggs in a fire then gets it out. Her handmaiden was astonished to find that Dany's hand wasn't even red even though the egg was hot.

If his stabbing happens this season, I think it'll just be Ollie, Alliser, and maybe a couple more. Heck, it could just be Ollie that stabs him considering how much foreshadowing they've already done with him.
