Now she is going to be facing an open rebellion, especially once everyone in Westeros finds out about Jon being a worthy alternative.
Varys and Sansa were already setting that up.
Now you’d have to be fricking regarded to want to fight this lady.
The only shot is if Jon somehow convinced her to let him near her or arya sneaks in and offs her.
She still has the strongest Army in Westeros without a dragon.

And while the pacing is much faster some, especially in terms of traveling across the realm, I don’t think the storylines and the developments to each storyline are progressing as fast as they seem compared to previous seasons.
The characters were traveling all over the realm in the first 4 seasons and the pace was nearly perfect.

And as it pertains to Dany, a lot of the complaints were something like “when is she ever going to leave Essos; her storyline is pointless.” And now many of character’s actions, motivations, and overall development can be directly linked to that “pointless” storyline and development, people are complaining about the lack of development or her rushed development and blaming the storytelling.
And I bet if you went through the posts from previous season’s episodes, you will find many of the same people complaining about her storyline in Essos and how it was pointless, who are complaining about her actions in last episode as it relates to her storyline and development.
And I bet many of the people saying they couldn’t do season 8 much better were the same ones who screamed bloody murder and anyone who pointed out the problems with the entire Dorne plot line.
So this cuts both ways.

Let’s look at it from this point of view given her comment about future generations. Dany wants to be worshipped like in Essos. She knows she is never going to get that from the people of Westeros hence the fear it is comment. Dany has a savior complex which has clearly been shown thus the people running for protection in the Red Keep are not in her mind “her people”. They defy her by not recognizing her as their savior. In her mind they are not bending the knee. What does she do to people that don’t bend the knee?

Like I said, I don’t understand why it bothers you so much that people wanted more out of the show than you did.
You’re one irrational little lady.

That sounds like a solid plot. It sure would have been nice to be clued into what she was thinking so we can come to a nice logical conclusion.
Instead, all we have are various guesses based on just how crazy each of us think she may be after being told she’s lost her mind without any quality depth behind it.
All of this happens through good writing, which we didn’t get. Hence the guessing.

Destroying your enemy makes that point
Destroy the red keep makes that point better
Destroying KL makes the point even more
To me, it makes the point she is liable to kill you even if you surrender and even if you're a civilian woman or child who never took up arms against her. Would not give me any incentive to cooperate with her.

I’m just laughing at your demands that we all think the exact same way that you do.
I didn’t get heavily invested in the avengers because I’m not a comic book reader. I enjoyed them for what they were to me and stayed in my lane when discussing them. I never sat there and demanded that everyone be entertained the same way I was. That’s fricking irrational and completely ridiculous.

Im pretty sure that exact thing has been said over and over and over in this thread. I know Ive put it in other threads at least. Many people picked up on it. That was part of having jamie going in. They were able to show the masses of people trying to go further and futherINTO the city TOWARDS cersei. Not looking for protection from dany. Its ok to have missed on some stuff like that. Its why these types of boards came up. This is the frusrating part of 70-80% of the discussion now trying to be one upping each other on crapping on the season. I missed on subtle things in the past and then came here and had it click.

I’ve never demanded you think a different way.
I’ve just pointed out where I disagree.
I havent Said you need to think this.
I’ve just said most people’s “fixes” would be boring and bad TV.

Why did Dany’s men capture him when he had JUST fought with them as an ally at Winterfell?
Sloppy, rushed writing.

I didn’t miss on anything and I haven’t once shite on the entire season. It’s not bad television, it’s just less than what it was early.
The only thing I’ve complained about is the pace they’ve set the last season at. It’s rushed and leaving more questions than answers for some of us who’ve dug in a little deeper to this show.

You don’t normally let people ride into a city your about to siege even if they’re on your side.

Well buddy I hate to break it to you since apparently you are all knowing but you did. Multiple people picked up on that and commented on it and you said

Did you want them to introduce a narrator or something?

Multiple people have given their opinions on what they believe is happening. In case you haven’t noticed those opinions are pretty wide spread.
You’re seriously going to sit there and try to tell me we know for sure what her motivations were?
I mean, you sat there and argued for several pages that Jon committed treason. The audience can’t even agree on something as simple as that, but you’re under the impression that Dany’s motivations are clear because of a few vague hints from past seasons?
