Sam theoretically had weeks to review the diary while on the road to WF.

I liked Euron's response.

She was just naked last whenever she walked out of the burning building. Full frontal.

My morning after boatsex thoughts-yes it was still shitty we only got to see like 20 seconds but i think maybe it was better that their first time was more intimate and not shared with all of us as opposed to their scenes with ygritte and Drogo which were a little more lustful and less romantic. The "he loved her and she loved him" speech seems more appropriate to hear someone else say it and for dany and jon to have no words at all for the entire scene, bc there are no words they could have said.

Yeah Jon! frick your aunt. frick her right in the pussy.

Anyone else think it was weird that Sam wasnt paying attention and could give two shits when Gilly was finding out about Jons parents' wedding, and then when Bran mentioned it he spouts up and starts rattling off the details. WTF??

My thoughts were more like: "Sam, you bastard. You're trying to glom the credit for Gilly's discovery. At least give her a shout out as the finder".

Well everyone upset with Sam not paying attention to Gilly initially...maybe he was, but why would he care? With the dead army coming, why would he give two shits about Rhaegar having his marriage annulled 20 years previously when he had no suspicions of Jon's true parentage at that time?

Dude has a mind like a steel trap, that's for sure. That shite came right back to him as soon as Bran mentioned R&L.

But he still basically fobbed off Gilly's finding as his own. He's gonna be hauled before the Westerosi student ethics committee for plagiarism.

Bran reminds me of Dr. Manhattan from the watchmen. Human emotions almost gone because he sees everything.

Concerning Varys and LF, and the pace of the show:

A few takeaways - Varys just kinda stands around in the background, hands in sleeves. LF just kinda leered at Sansa all season, miscalculating (totally out of character). Wouldn't it have been nice to have LF and Varys meet again and have LF (at least someone other than just Cersei) still hanging around at the end, plotting, with the dead on their heels?

I'll miss LF's smug, conceited smile.

I guess we have to thin the herd as the show comes to an end, but I just hate that two of the better characters were left with little to do. The faster pace of this show has given us some great, exciting, battles and visuals, but has taken away much of what made the show smart - the the backroom deals and schemes that made the The Game.

That Theon scene was basically unwatchable. Repeatedly kneeing him in the dick but he has no dick is like Adam Sandler level bad. Cannot believe they thought that was a good idea.

Sansa isn't an executioner, Arya is. Sansa played Little Finger and ordered the excution. She killed him even if she wasn't the one holding the blade.

You have to understand. Landshark thinks he is a screen writer lol

I think with the hype and buildup le epic boatsex had received, I think anything short of pornhub material was going to disappoint the masses.

If you are wondering where Dan and Dave got their inspiration for the last few minutes of Ep. 7. Look no further than here

I don't think LF necessarily miscalculated, he just didn't know that Bran could see everything he had done. Without the TER in the room, half of the shite he was accused of wouldn't have come to light.

If anything, his biggest mistake was not hightailing it out of there once Bran dropped the "chaos is a ladder" line.

But I agree, Varys and LF's roles and importance have greatly diminished in the last 2 seasons.

What exactly would you say Arya/Sansa did to LF? They literally did exactly what you are saying

Hell in the same episode Cersei/Euron schemed as well.

I think Martin is holding these books because people guessed R+L=J a long time ago.

I wasn't being literal my friend. I was just goofing on Sam saying he found it by re-copying the arch-maester's journal.

Exactly. I can't remember but I think Euron left before Jon said he wouldn't be neutral. Cersei was playing the game the whole time.

I would think Varys would find out about the ships and the Golden Company.

That's the one thing that kept nagging at me last night. Varys would absolutely know about that shite.
