He very clearly makes it far enough down the fall to watch the rest of it fall. The last we see of him is the wall crumbling just in front of him.
It's obvious he's not dead

Unless she wanted Tyrion to think she is pregeant to cloud his judgement.
Cersei w/no baby? He give no fricks about her getting killed.
Cersei carrying his beloved brother's baby? He will do all he can to keep Danny from taking her out.

Which means if the child is going to wear a golden crown, then Cersei is going to have to die next season, and then the child will die.
Cersei not drinking any wine when Tyrion poured it and not killing Jaime (beside other reasons) is pretty tell-tale that she is pregnant and not faking it (beyond all of the other obvious evidence).
CERSEI DIES IN CHILDBIRTH WHILE DELIVERING AN IMP!!!!!

A cheesy end for the most mistreated character in the show. What a waste of a good
character and a good actor. Martin probably died inside as he watched
Littlefinger had a good run, but it had become unbelievable watching him JUST BARELY get away with scheme after scheme. The number of times he hasn't been killed because of a gamble that paid off are too numerous to remember off the top of my head.

The exchange between Jon and Dany in the Pit made me fear for Jon's safety next season. I for sure thought he was safe and that Dany would die.
But now I have a feeling Jon will die and that Dany will have his baby. He will die with only Bran, Sam, Dany and maybe Tyrion knowing the actual truth that Jon was the true heir all along.

There was so much build up to Jon and Dany having sex and it lasted about 10 seconds. There was no build up and no one cares about Missandei and Grey Worm and their sex scene lasted what felt like forever.

I'm betting that Sansa will not like Dany at all but that Arya will love her
I also wonder if Jon and Dany will keep things under the wraps? Will they be sneaky about it or will Jon or Dany try to downplay it into being a onetime thing?
Also, do we expect Melisandre back next season?

Lion's Tooth was Joffrey's. A certain little girl disarmed him and chucked it into the Trident.

I took it to mean that her children would all have golden blonde hair. I don't think she's truly pregnant.

What was the hound talking about with his brother

He basically told the Mountain not to worry about all this BS because he's going to be the one to kill him.
Cleganebowl re-reconfirmed.

quote:Theon himself is irrelevant, it's what he is: a boy raised by Ned Stark.
That Theon scene was basically unwatchable
Jon told him "our father", and said "you don't have to choose, you are Greyjoy AND Stark".
In Jon's mind, the biological parent is secondary, it's the one who raised you that gives you identity. So in his point of view, he's always going to be Ned's son, and a Stark in his heart.
Also as he told Theon- he condemned him for betraying the family that raised him, for the family that birthed him.
Theon is just around so we know what Jon's position will be when Bran and Sam tell him the news. Jon will be Stark first, even once it's established he's really Targaryen.

I think the simplest explanation for the extra Cersei child thing is to read the prophecy as "3 children who will survive beyond infancy"
Its sloppy but then prophecies often are.
Was Cersei and Robert's dark haired son in the books as well? I thought so, but its been a while since i read them.

Here's the scene on youtube.

The show version says she only has 3 children, the gold crowns could mean their hair, not an actual crown.

Seems to me like Tyrion has been a flop this season.

My morning after boatsex thoughts-yes it was still shitty we only got to see like 20 seconds but i think maybe it was better that their first time was more intimate and not shared with all of us as opposed to their scenes with ygritte and Drogo which were a little more lustful and less romantic. The "he loved her and she loved him" speech seems more appropriate to hear someone else say it and for dany and jon to have no words at all for the entire scene, bc there are no words they could have said.

Loved the episode
a few observations
Anyone else think it was weird that Sam wasnt paying attention and could give two shits when Gilly was finding out about Jons parents' wedding, and then when Bran mentioned it he spouts up and starts rattling off the details. WTF??
Also, was I the only one who was dissapointed in Eurons departure? Even if he had it planned, i didnt expect him to just walk off and say bye

It was like that because the actress won't do nude scenes anymore because she thinks she's a star now.
