it's a damn nice sword that needs to end up in the hands of someone that can properly use it,
Tormund would do work with it
And if Tormund is given the sword, it would be a double frick you by Sam to his dad for giving the sword to a wildling

With how much Randyll Tarly hates Wildlings, Tormund has to wield it.

Have the implications of Uncle Coldhands/Benjen been discussed yet?
Maybe he informs Bran he cannot cross through the Wall or else it will give the Night's King passage?
Also he knows Jon's true lineage I believe.

IF Ned told a single living soul before he died, it was Benjen.

I think Bran has seen Jon parentage at this point with Ned's bloody hand in his visions.

My struggle is believing that Renly never tapped that shite while they were married. I mean I get the whole he was gay angle, but still, she's considered one of the most beautiful women in Westeros.
Renly was like Richard-Simmons-sitting-on-a-wheelbarrow-full-of-dicks gay.

He already told Bran that he has to go south beyond the Wall, and that the Night's King will figure out a way to cross, and that Bran will be waiting on him when he does.

What makes you think that? The only way he'd know is if the 3ER told him for some reason, because I don't see anyway that Ned told anyone, including Benjen.

So a question about Benjen. Is he 'dead?' The explanation that makes the most sense to me is that he died but the magic of the COTF prevented him from becoming a wight upon resurrection. However, what he said made it sound like he survived.

I think those visions was weirwood.net uploading knowledge. He is now the three eyed raven

He may have seen it with the flood of images that he got, but I don't think he understands what he saw yet.

So was Jaime released of his vows as the Kingsguard? I believe he was, but I was intoxicated so I am not sure. If he was he can now be Lord of Casterly Rock?

Benjen said that a White Walker killed him with an ice sword through the gut, but that the COTF got to him before he turned into a wight. So he actually died, but the COTF brought him back as a semi-walker with the dragon glass through the heart.

I know he was stripped of being Lord Commander of the King's Guard, but I'm not sure if he was totally stripped of being part of the King's Guard. I do know he was forced to remove the King's Guard armor, so he might have been stripped of being part of the King's Guard.

Is there a possibility that the flash shots of Aerys in the vision is the only time we see that event in the show?
Posted on 5/31/16 at 11:31 am to Bamatab
I think between the WW sword in the gut and a dragon glass shard in your heart, you are frickig dead. He also seemed a bit discolored (greenish) in a way that implied he wasn't a normal human anymore.
I think if Bran saw as much of Ned Stark generation Starks and Robert's Rebellion as he seems to have seen, then he could probably put the pieces together. Agreed though if Ned told anyone, it would be Lyanna's other sibling (Benjen)

Possibly if we get the book character arc for Jaime and he becomes disillusioned with Cersei and KL (particularly if Tommen dies soon), then it would set him up to lead the Lannister Army north. Ironically this could be the HS effectively re-arming the Lannisters.

In a way I kind of hope it is. I sure as heck don't want them to go in the direction that Bran drove him mad or anything. That would suck imo. But if the purpose of the flashback is for Bran to learn about wildfire or some kind of Jamie redemption arc, then I'd be ok with that. But please don't let them go down the path of Bran being the cause of the Mad King.

what's next for the Tyrell's? Do they just pull out of KL? or do they try and work with the new regime?
Maybe queen of thornes kills another King?
