At least from a book perspective, his father knowingly had a girl that loved him gang raped before his eyes before banishing her. He also (I believe) basically says something to the effect of "whether you killed Joffrey or not you are getting punished for it." He has indirectly tried to get Tyrion killed multiple times. Along with a host of more general crimes
Overall, Tyrion shouldn't feel an once of regret for that asswipe.
I think that's bullshite because Tywin was always looking for a way for Tyrion to die without sullying the Lannister name. That's the only reason why he sent him up to the front line. He's been trying to kill him for years, but the Tysha incident is what is truly unforgivable in Tyrion's eyes. fricking Shae was just gravy. It was Tysha that defined him, and the show fricked it up. That's a scene that should have been word for word.

I think the main point of meet the parents was to intro a new piece of valyrian steel and remind us of how rare and important these swords are to families. Also we may have the Tarlys join house stark so it could have been an opportunity for us to meet them so we remember who they are in the future.

Danny's storyline made much more sense whenever she didn't have an dorthraki left. They are going to have to kill all the dorthraki before the dust settles because there's just no way that they can live on westeros with everyone else
Either act westerosi or my dragons eat you. Problem solved

with that speech that Randall Tarly gave, there is no way he will fight alongside a Jon/Sansa army made up of thousands of wildlings.

I'm really looking forward to next episode

I'm curious how they'll use Edmure next episode.

I'd love if they showed this full scene not in shadow:

My way or the highway was EXACTLY what her plan was. Tyrion is the only one smart enough to tell her that people don't just change customs over night, regardless of how powerful you are.

I noticed that Jamie had his current short hair in the vision of him killing the Mad King. Intredasting

Thanks for the link. I didn't read all of the thread. The only image I can't figure out is the bloody hand.

Random thoughts:
- Bran is either still in a fog or doesn't give a shite about Hodor and Summer dying
- How did Robert sit in the Iron Throne? It is barely wide enough for Tommen
- The final shot of Drogon was EPIC, however I am sick of hearing Dany make speeches. I assume GRRM / writers are just keeping her East until things in Westeros shake out enough for her to return.
- And Bran was drinking straight rabbit blood?
- Jon still looks rattled in the preview. I again tip my hat to Harrington for his excellent acting. Long way from when the series started.
- I want to see Blackfish wreck shop.
- I re-watched the High Sparrow scene and paid attention to Margery's facial expressions. I definitely think she is now playing the game at a high level. I expect some communication with Grandma to that effect soon.

For as much hype as we've given other potential returns/characters who have returned this season, the Blackfish is so damn underrated. Especially when he's at his highest level of snark.

One thing I found interesting was Daario telling Danerys that she wasn't born to lead; she was born to conquer. I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned it yet. That little part of the conversation seemed a fairly heavy nod to what could be part of her end game.
More than anything, Dany is searching for a home. The memories and visions of the red door show us this, at least in the books. Could it be that she is instrumental in helping to "conquer" Westeros and in saving humanity from the Others, but decides that she has found home and is weary of the leadership she thought she desired and steps aside for Jon? Is this the bittersweet ending Martin is planning?
Or am I reading way too much into that conversation? LOL
