re: OFFICIAL Discussion Thread for New LSU DC Candidates - SoFresh
I don't want an NFL guy. I want a successful college DC. I worry about NFL coaches and recruiting as well as adapting to facing college offenses. Success in the NFL doesn't always translate to college. ...

I've watched these guys a bit this season. The guy on screen sucks, but the guy who isn't seems very knowledgeable and seems to do a lot of homework...

re: 7 spots to fill. 2020 depth chart w/ new 2020 signees and NFL Departures updated. - SoFresh
Our OL could be so stacked for next season if all of those guys stay. I really doubt all of them do, but that isn't really based off of anything. Having 4 seniors up front would be incredible. Charles Thomas/Hines Cush Ingram Deculus With so much talent at the skill positions, 2020's offe...

re: Clemson LSU common opponent Texas A&M - SoFresh
That result and margin of victory doesn't matter much at all, especially since Clemson played them in week 2. If I'm trying to predict a game result based on prior games, I'd probably try and find an offensive and defensive unit that Clemson played against that compares well in style to LSU's re...

re: Don’t expect to see much of Emery - SoFresh
Not how things work. I don’t doubt that we may not see much emery, but this will not be the main reason. Players do as coaches say, not the other way around. Burrow just happens to be on the same page as E and Brady ...

re: Kayshon & Koy, is Jarret way better than these 2 guys? - SoFresh
Boutte and Moore might end up being better than Jarrett but recruiting is a numbers game. We don't know how these kids will develop. All I know is that if you accumulate more talent, the chances of the team being good is far greater. And RJ is immensely talented. ...

Don’t care that much about some 18 year old kid’s decision to play close to home. Besides, why would LSU EVER play at Maryland?? We aren’t some scrub program like Texas...

re: Does Brady get the Meatball treatment from this board? - SoFresh
That's not how recruiting works. Coaches are generally assigned to recruit players based off of geography. They may talk to the position coaches some, but they are mostly talking to their assigned coaches and then Coach O. For example, Jarrett's primary recruiter was Mickey Joseph and secondary ...

re: Who were the silent commits everyone was talking about?? - SoFresh
Some think the first "Hold that tiger!" was Evans.
That tweet didn't come from coach o, it came from the LSU football account. I'm pretty sure the lsu football account tweeted it just because it was the start of NSD, not necessarily to announce a recruit had committed/signed. Co...

re: O expected 22, or 23 in the Early Signing Period - SoFresh
We might not get to 23 total
And why would that be a big deal? I recall in 2018 we signed 22 and it allowed us to bring in a transfer named Joe Burrow. I'm not concerned with undersigning. Losing Jarrett and possibly Burton together sucks tho. ...
