Threatening you with just my fist isn't the same as with a loaded gun to your head.

She wants to break the wheel. I assume she doesn't want a ruler at all. At least in the show.

I don't see Jon leading anything in the south ever. I see a stark returning to King of the North status after they help with the Others whether that is Jon or Sansa.
If Dany doesn't want to rule the rest, I could see Tyrion getting it but I don't think that happens either. The show has shown he in a different light than i ever saw her in the books, I think she is a fool with a big arse weapon that can wipe out the rest (her dragons). i don't think she has any comprehension of how to rule anyone or what it would begin to take.

What is Sam going to do with Heartsbane? Seriously

Probably just end up giving it to someone who can use it in the War to Come. But he'll also try to use it in studying more about Valyrian steel.

That's because you hit like a girl

Yeah, Tormound can definitely wield it. I don't think Davos is all that good with a sword though.
Also, Heartsbane didn't look near as big as Ice did on the show. I'm wondering if it would even be considered a great sword (the one on the show at least.)

Does it get burned down into two like Ice? Or made into some other weapon?
Give it to the winner of CleganeBowl?

He could have the sword melted down like Tywin did with Ice

Off topic, but frick Tywin for that. Seriously. What a dick move.

I doubt it. Again, it doesn't look near as big as Ice on the show. The blade of Ice looked a lot wider.

I forgot how fricking huge Ice was
Posted on 5/31/16 at 8:45 am to ell_13
Yeah Ice was a true 2H sword. Show Heartsbane looks like a normal broadsword

It's still pretty long.... That's a big mantle it's sitting on and Sam struggled getting it off the stand.
Posted on 5/31/16 at 9:09 am to Gugich22
Well Sam is weak af. Maybe a hand and a half like Longclaw. The fact that Sam was able to handle it with one hand at all is remarkable if it is supposed to be a bastard sword.

Yeah I think it might be a bastard sword just based on the size of the handle. But the blade didn't look to be as long as Longclaw, but it is probably bigger than Oathkeeper.
Whatever size it actually is, it's a damn nice sword that needs to end up in the hands of someone that can properly use it, which isn't Sam.

I'm guessing he ends up handing it off to someone useful down the road, unless he literally goes full Rhaegar and reinvents himself as a warrior.
I wonder how much the show is going to have to fudge his escape because no way his fatass and a new born can escape the force his father will send after him without some plot magic help.
