Oh really? I had forgotten that's what he was doing. My bad. I will edit my other post so I don't confuse anyone.

They're almost definitely sailing to Dany. In one of the trailers Asha is banging a slave. Only place for that is Essos, and the only thing for them in Essos aside from random raiding is Dany.

My question is if y'all think this is clearly setting up for Euron, or if we are led to think that Asha and Theon might have that approximate number of ships and they might possibly sail to Dany?
I posted on the last page or the one before that I think they are setting up a battle for the Iron Islands when the ships are done and the winner goes to Dany to be a part of her group. i think Asha and Reek circle around and come back for Euron and fight him on land for the ships. This is one thing I hated about them not bringing Euron and Victarion in last season or even the season before and getting them over there trying to sway her.

Interesting, I do not have the eagle eye for those trailers and I don't pick up as much

By the way you doubted me on the Benjen stuff
liked seeing him back.

I think we all picked up on Daario's comment that Dany would need the exact amount of ships Euron is planning to build in order to sail to Westeros (this made me roll my eyes). At first I thought, really? They might as well have had Daario say, "How many ships? Well, and this is completely hypothetical, but let's put it this way, if there was a new Ironborn King named Euron Greyjoy who had just ordered his men to build enough ships to come take you to Westeros, I would say whatever that number is." My question is if y'all think this is clearly setting up for Euron, or if we are led to think that Asha and Theon might have that approximate number of ships and they might possibly sail to Dany?
Maybe Daario has been Victarion all along, working for Euron.
But seriously, I'm pretty sure Asha and Theon are already on course for Essos. One of the trailers had Asha making out with a slave girl, so I think it's a given they're going to be heading that way.

I would be down for this. Daario did have sort of an unsettling expression on his face during Dany's speech, but it could just be because of his ego.

That would be an interesting combination of characters since the Daario = Euron theory has been around a long time. I don't think this is the case unless Victarion owned part of the Second Sons in order to gain rank, but I didn't think Victarion was a very good fighter in the books either.

None of them have everything he had, and only Tyrion (and Jaime in the books) knows it.
It's arguable Tyrion had all 3 and that's why Tywin resented him the most. You can say Tywin saved the day at Blackwater but without Tyrion they still lose.

I just don't see any way that Dany would marry, or even team up with Euron. With his reputation of how he treated his men, she just wouldn't go for it. And Tyrion & Varys sure wouldn't advise her to do it.
What I think could happen is that Asha & Theon make it to Meereen before Euron, and they hatch some sort of plan with Dany to fool Euron into thinking she'll marry him (maybe even pretend to offer Asha & Theon has a gift to Euron), only to backstab him and take his fleet or something. And on the show Euron doesn't even have the dragon horn (that we know of at least), so he doesn't even have that leverage on her.

starting to sound like Get Shorty.

not sure what that means. Do you mean the movie or is that a poster?

What if this was the purpose of his actor change? What if Euron taught victarian some magic from his travels so that Victarian can make people think he was Daario all along and they killed the real Daario. Basically, he looks different but magic is keeping everyone else from noticing and just thinking he is the same person ie a Rick an Morty-ish worm conspiracy that makes people think they were always apart of their lives even though they just appeared... Thats why the original Daario actor is gone and we will find his body somewhere one day...

Anyone get pumped to see the Blackfish in the ep 7 preview? I wish they had shown him and the Tully men retaking Riverrun. Missed out on seeing some dead Freys.

So are we getting Arya vs. Waif in Episode 7?
Predicting Arya returns to Westeros in Episode 9 or 10

Very pumped about that. Some of my favorite characters in game of thrones are the storied knights and badasses that we mostly hear about indirectly or through flashbacks and lore, etc. Like the guys that the characters we see in every book and episode talk about with great respect and whose abilities and pull in the kingdom are widely known and not fricked with. Everyone knows the blackfish and I like that he is viewed as a big threat in the north. We are constantly seeing Starks and honorable folks killed, so when someone loyal to them steps up, I get a slight chub. We are so used to seeing Lannisters and the like act like badasses, and some of them are, but I like seeing them have some fear, kinda like when Robb had his direwolf in front of Jaime and he was visibly frightened. Love that shite.

The High Sparrow/Faith militant storyline officially jumped the shark this week IMO. It's been a stretch for a while now as it simply isn't realistic given the parameters laid out for this universe, but at this point they are in "frick it we've got to keep this shite going for a while" mode. They're obviously building up to Cleganebowl but they're shitting themselves getting there.
Other than that it was a good episode.
