Right - it might be worth more as a tax write-off than even adding to D+ content. Disney has to stay liquid for the Hulu put that is coming.

Absolutely - the race-swapping (which, frankly is disgusting when done like this merely to shield the film from criticism and hangs the cast member(s) out to dry) and most of the nastiness with this one is NOT on the lead. She did not shite on the OG Little Mermaid. She handled the songs well.
All Bailey did was audition for the role and did her best. The shitty animation, the awful Awkwafina song, etc., was all someone else's department.

They still have post-production, distribution, and marketing, which will be hundreds of millions of dollars if this is a distributed movie.

i agree with all of this. she seems like a nice young lady and i wish 0 ill upon her. Disney Execs set her up for failure unfortunately.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs....since Dwarfs have been removed from the title, how about Snow White be removed as well? She was named Snow White for a reason.

Gadot in some of those interviews is just as bad, but many of you will ignore it. They are all utterly ridiculous and Zegler straight up bitching about getting paid for every minute of streaming if the movie tells you all you need to know.
One thing I know now is since I have not yet watched West Side Story, I will never watch it now.

Yes just like this one don’t make the beauty difference between Snow White and the queen so stark. Nobody thinks Kirsten Stewart is close to Charlize

Rachel Zegler was phenomenal in West Side Story. She can act and has a beautiful voice. That said, she's also apparently bat shite crazy, but you can't blame it all on her. She didn't write the script for this steaming pile of crap. It's ridiculous how far this movie will veer from not just the 1937 animated classic, but from the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale itself. If the rumors are true, we have a Snow White movie where:
Snow White's skin isn't white as snow
The Queen isn't jealous of SW's beauty, but of her intelligence and strength
The Queen's huntsman doesn't allow SW to escape. She kicks his arse and runs away
No seven dwarfs
No prince
Snow White doesn't care about love. She just wants to be a kick arse girl boss leader
The kiss of true love doesn't wake SW from the poison apple's spell
Snow White defeats the Queen at the end

the majority of hollywood are GED/High School (excluding some of course... Streep, Affleck, Damon, etc.) educated people that have been told their shite doesn't stink since they were 16 years old and spoon fed what opinions to have.
i don't begrudge them, i just don't take many seriously.
