The ending didn't bother me too much. The past few episodes have been hinting heavily towards Floyd killing himself, and it not being a murder. He's been depressed for a while, and Clark kind of cockteasing him before running off set him off. But I think him killing himself was out of character. He cared deeply for his tarded stepson, and he had to have known that the suicide was going to likely frick the kid up even more.
Overall, not a bad series, but a massive disappointment given the cast + Conrad coming off of Patriot.

This show was a huge waste of time. Would not recommend.

The series started out with so much promise but failed to stick the landing. Last few episodes were duds but I wanted ti believe until the end
With euphoria’s opener being lame I wonder if I am finally finished with HBO.

man that ending blew
Is this actually the ending? If so... Holy shi! This could have been the worst series I've ever seen.

You shouldn't feel like you need a shower after watching a TV show.

I don't understand the Barry White underwear dancing.
Were they actually gay for each other?

Floyd was. I think Clark was trying to be for his buddy, but he just couldn't do it all the way. Thank goodness. I was watching and saying, no, no, don't do it, no

The last episode felt like a "frick you" to the audience. I kept thinking all of the uncomfortable weirdness of the show was going to pay off in the finale, but it didn't. Maybe that's the point. It left the audience unsatisfied, like Floyd was.

I suspected Floyd was going to suicide himself but not for these reasons per se. Pretty forgettable overall like someone said.
And in the end, Clark didn’t murder Floyd, but his actions certainly caused his death.

The ending didn't make me dislike the show overall but was really hoping there was an actual murder instead of suicide. I enjoyed the unique story telling perspective but if you watch a murder mystery, you want to see a murder, not a suicide.
Didn't think they'd go suicide since they were telegraphing it for two episodes now.
Eh I think this season is going to be good. The trailer at the end of the episode looked 10x better than the trailers they had released prior to the season.

The suicide felt quite rushed as well.
Floyd is a patient and calm guy who has been used to being a loser for quite some time. The situation with his stepson misunderstanding the situation is going to be tough for him, but he has been a guy willing to talk and be in uncomfortable situations in the past.
After all, Richard smashed him in the junk with a baseball bat a few years ago because his mom cried after an argument, and he took it in stride.
Also the final episode made Carol a much more likable character.

Suicide wins.
Such a weird and unfulfilled story.

After I made my post about the second to last episode, the last episode dropped.
That was... something. The ending was just sad. I know the kid is neurodivergent or something, but he was so unlikeable. Everybody's life is just ruined in the end.
Not one of my more enjoyable watches. It was weird with no direction then just ended up depressing and weird.

Can someone tell me why the wife (Carol) kept telling everyone to speak up? Maybe I missed it but that shite was nauseating when she kept saying it.

When she was just jogging in the beginning she was listening to some self help tape and it said to tell people to speak up because it will keep them off balance so you can maintain conversational dominance. It was a pretty funny little tidbit.

Got it. I did see her jogging with headphones and telling people to move or something like that I guess I missed that part.

Floyd was.
I'm not even sure that Floyd was gay or trending that way. He was just so fricking lonely he wanted any kind of touch. His own wife was repulsed by him physically.
SPOILER QUESTION:
How exactly did Richard and Clark bike along routes that made their transit away from the pool house look like a solo rider?

All of the buildup for the story behind what happened to Floyd's wang, only to be "explained" by 2 lines of dialogue was bullshite enough as it was, but what I really wanted to know is why Richard wore the damned fishing vest all the time and what flavor of 'tism causes him to be obsessed with throwing rocks at the side of the house.
Also, why is Carol's job with Purina so shitty that she has to take a gig as Little League ump?
