Yes, yes it does. Although there is a nice set of tits you get to see through a shirt.

Yes, he said he had a “vous” (rendezvous) and then quoted Peter Saarsgard’s saying about neighbors not being normal. Made me laugh.
This show is bizarre AF, but I like it.
I can’t even guess as to the ending. Could be a suicide, could be one of the wives or the son. We still don’t know about Linda Cardellini’s criminal past either. I wonder if it has something to do with Floyd’s bent dick? It would make sense that she would purposefully injure him then he would forgive her.

Is this show worth starting? Does it show a bunch of dicks like most HBO shows these days?
It shows some pictures of one of the characters in Playgirl. That's about it I think.
I'd definitely give it a shot. I'd call it a mix of True Detective and The White Lotus. I don't think it's as good as S1 True Detective (nothing is) or as funny as some of The White Lotus but overall definitely worth a watch. i was pleasantly surprised at how good it is.
Unique story telling with very good acting and a pretty good mystery to boot. No woke stuff if that's something that is a hang up for you.

Not a bunch- just the same Playgirl spread.
I don't think I would want to watch if I had gotten spoilers- part of why it's so good is watching it in real time, then getting spoilers/feedback later.

The signs have been pointing to suicide but I feel like they are putting too much emphasis on who is on the bicycle for it to be a suicide. Almost like you find out who is on that bicycle and you find out who your killer is. Suicide would also be a little lame for a mystery show. Don't really want to watch 8 episodes worth of detective work to find out he killed himself.
The bent dick thing is hilarious and that only be right for it to be involved in his murder

I wonder if it’s suicide, but then his wife messes with the scene to cover up that it was suicide so she could cash in on the life insurance.
That way, Bateman has done nothing illegal while the wife has committed insurance fraud.
That would be an anti-climatic ending though.
At this point, the two people who would shock me are his step-son Richard and Bateman himself.
I think they’ve written a clear character arc where Richard is the only person who truly respects and appreciates him. Bateman clearly likes him, but he definitely pities him as well.

Just a heads up for people that are not familiar with Steve Conrad’s previous work and are enjoying his style for the first time. The Patriot (Amazon Prime) and Perpetual Grace LTD, are great shows. The Patriot is a top 5 show for me.
I didn’t realize he was involved in DTF until I started watching the first episode and I recognized that dialogue.

Yes, only 8 episodes. I like the style of storytelling and Harbour/Bateman have a very good dynamic. The overall mystery is well done and it has some really funny moments.

Anybody else say Mike Honcho I spread my buttcheeks everytime they show it
Me and the wife are watching this and are entertained. Both of us are big Bateman fans.

That's exactly what my theory is, especially after watching the latest episode.

I definitely don't see it being cut and dry. I think suicide + tampering is a good guess.
ETA If I had to guess he dies through an accident and then maybe some tampering occurs. Like does he die through the same thing that caused the dick accident and the wife tries to cover it up?

Yeah, what’s up with that?

That would make sense if suicide voids payment of the life insurance. They'd have to explain how she knew he was committing suicide (and where), though.

This last episode lost me
I hope it finishes strong because not only do I not have a clue of what's going one (which is fine and probably the point), but I care less about the characters and their arc than I did two episodes ago. Except old cop, his internet searches are hilarious.

Weak finale and pretty forgettable series overall after a strong first couple of episodes
