Man I don’t know how to feel. The early 2000s were the golden age of comedies.

It sounds good in theory but then you get Anchorman 2 and Zoolander 2.

Rip Torn.

Considering he died in the movie and IRL, I’d say he’s probably not returning.

We’ve been saying this on this board since atleast 2011

But during the pandemic (and a little bit before), the need for sequels of IP that hadn't been touched for a decade was the en vogue thing for studios so they can make bank on millenial and genX member berries.

That period dominated comedy with dodge ball,
Old school, wedding crushers and the hangover

I cannot see Ben Stiller doing it.

They need a new villain anyway.

I suggest Lance Armstrong playing Lance Armstrong.

This seems like a bad idea

It does, but if they reunite most of that cast I won’t be able to stay away.

Wedding Crashers 2 was in prep ... then Owen pulled the plug.

Vince is likely scratching the sequel itch with this vehicle.

I’ll bet a dollar that they end up playing pickleball.

It’d be timely and probably pretty easy to write a similar plot around.

Seeing Ben Stiller’s character being overly intense about Pickleball seems like an obvious direction to go.

A sequel in need of a retro villain? So many options:

Dolph L
JCvD
Tom Arnold
Mike Myers
Christopher Walken
Christopher McDonald

Las Vegas. A city built of hot sand, broken dreams and $5 lobster. A city where you can get a happy ending, if you pay a little extra. A city home to a sporting event greater than the World Cup, World Series and World War II combined.

Would rather have a Wedding Crashers sequel than dodgeball.

I’d rather have a Swingers sequel that either.

If they bring back the best announcing team the Ocho has ever had I'll watch.
