I went into this not expecting much but I must say that I enjoyed the hell out of this. Loved Foghorn Leghorn being the corporate villain. The movie even got heartwarming a few times. Damn I miss watching Looney Tunes as a kid.

Thought this was great. I picked up more of the throwback jokes and references than my kids. But both of them, cynical arse teenagers, loved it, too. Was fun.

Saw it this weekend. Super fun movie with a very original concept. It’s fun for all ages. Cena and Forte were great in this.

Just got out. Really great movie with lots of Easter eggs as others have said.
If you grew up watching looney tunes you should really go see it. Very well done and funny.

Absolutely. My kids had only seen a few episodes of looney tunes and were barely familiar with it, but they loved it. It’s just a solid movie regardless.

Saw it with the family tonight. We all liked it. Afterwards my son who was 4 seats away said there was some guy laughing at many things in the beginning. I said it was me.
Also, we’re going to spoil up Who Framed Roger Rabbit next weekend. All of the kids are now old enough to see the toon get executed (hated this scene as a kid!).

I was not expecting the Better Call Saul aesthetic. I loved it. Being a lawyer, I especially got a kick out of the legal gags like trying to subpoena the Road Runner.

Plan on checking it out at some point.
Read the backstory that it was complete then shelved by WB, if I remember right, and the producers/directors fought to shop it around and get it out there.

This is the part I've been replaying in my head and laughing about since seeing it last night.

This movie was amazing. I really hope they can bring some of these characters back again because I love Coyote
I actually found a flip book from when I was in elementary school (must’ve been 1st-3rd) recently that said my favorite cartoon: Coyote and roadrunner in crayon in my handwriting
forgot all about that

Is it going to break even?
Originally budget was ~70 million and ketchup bought from WB for $50mm
It already made 28.5mm before this weekend so it looks like it’ll at least get the $50 million

Saw this today after reading this thread. Thought it was good, not great. Well worth watching and lots of throwbacks for us old folks.

It’s a dang good movie. Kind of amazing the parallels of the plot to what it took to have this movie released. What was Warner Bros thinking trying to kill this movie?
