Though it'd be an amazing troll job if they got to the farm at the beginning of season 2 and left just before Rick and crew showed up.

I wouldn't watch.

Yeah I get your point, but I was never really big into the zombie thing until TWD. Unless you include Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland

I am def not going to be watching this one from the beginning. Ill wait until the season is over and then get the feed back to decide. Got burned pretty hard on True Detective 2.

Maybe in 30 years someone will make sexy zombie teenage fiction and we'll get new zombie movies but right now I can't watch another hour of bland storytelling with zombie window dressing.

Well there was that zombie movie a couple years ago that was almost a romantic comedy. It was kinda good.

At first, I thought that's who you were talking about, but I just couldn't get past the "best actor" part. You lost me there.

More money.

That's literally the only reason something as stupid as the Walking Dead would be expanded upon comercially.

In the walking dead, exactly how long has the zombie apocalypse been going on?

This timeline says the most recent season ended on day 547. LINK

Regarding the OP, I was surprised when one of the previews said it was only going to be 6 episodes. Who knows how they'll expand it if it becomes popular, but if it's limited in scope, it does show a part of the ZA that they skipped over in TWD. TWD starts with Rick waking up from a comma and the world has already gone to hell and major cities are already dead. FTWD focuses on everything going to hell and we'll probably get to see how a city as big and populated as Los Angeles turns into a zombie ghost town in a few weeks.

don't get how they think it's a good idea. I thought that could be pieced together given context and what you omitted in my post.

Because people have been asking about the actual outbreak for a long time

It's a very good concept, at least for 1 season

One show jumps to the third quarter at the start.

Other one starts at the coin clip.

I love this idea. My only concern is what happens after season 1. Everybody wanted to see the outbreak and then we've seen it. Now we have two shows with a group of people doing the same stuff, trying to survive on the road.

Shane should have been killed earlier. Terrible character.
