I didn’t find Robert California that funny. Thought he’d be great at first but just didn’t work for me.

I know I’m in the minority, but I actually loved Robert California the character because of how weird he was. I didn’t enjoy the storylines in a lot of those episodes though.

After Michael left, the show is pretty bad. With Michael it’s my favorite show ever.

It’s biggest frick up is that the show didn’t end after Michael left.

I don't even bother with the last two seasons

But Andy, who was the worst regular cast member IMO, had the best quote of the series in the last season

That one still hits me in the feels

100% agree. The later seasons really made me hate Pam a lot. Also Robert California is underrated

I have only started watching The Office in the last 6-8 months so I’m definitely late to the party. I watch several episodes in a row when they’re on CC but the seasons jump around and the difference between the episodes with Michael Scott in charge and those without are glaring. I love his interaction with Michael Wallace and Toby.

Andy episodes aren’t my favorite but when the cast of Sweeney Todd come into the office in character and Dwight grabs a big hunting knife to defend himself…worth it.

Here’s one of the last questions I have left after seeing so many episodes : where did Andy come up with the nickname “Tuna” for Jim?

Just get a subscription for Peacock and watch the first five seasons. Watching it piecemeal through CC will likely just ruin the show for you.

I thought Robert California was great... at first. Seemed like an unhinged evil genius.

"Do I seem like someone who would... WASTE my own time?"

Then they started adding his personal life and making him a stupid possibly rich drunk and retard like almost everyone else.

That’s explained clearly in the episode where Jim goes to the Stamford office. He brought a tuna sandwich for lunch his first day and Andy called him Big Tuna, and then just never stopped. And eventually that turned into just Tuna.

Also, I’d advise you to seriously just start the show from the start and binge it in order. I can’t imagine watching random episodes of the show without never having seen the show. But hell, if you enjoy it like that then you’ll likely love it if you watched it in normal order.

I work remotely, but I have an office in our HQ in Indiana. I got to it probably 5-6 times a year. I have this picture
on my desk. The framed version.

People that get it always laugh.

The longer the show went on, the more the character Pam became like the actress who played her. She talks about this in her podcast rewatch series with Angela and is quite proud of it. She defends Pam’s behavior in the last few seasons and trashes Jim a good bit.

I kinda agree with that. But overall I thought Spader was a great addition to the show. I think my favorite thing about him was Ryan and Gabe wanting so badly to be like him (like at the party at his house).

Might be the best post Michael episode. His quotes during the tour about each room are hilarious.

The whole storyline sucked notwithstanding, but it wasn't out of her character though.

She was flirtatious with Jim while she was still with Roy. Roy didn't know they were having a little office crush. Not unbelievable that Jim and us, the viewer, were in the dark either about Brian.

Nelly was by far the worst part of the show!

This is why I have never liked The Office. I had one boss like that. I guess it hit too close to home. I haven't worked in an office since 2010, so maybe I should give it another chance.
