As long as they are convincing in the role they could be from Somalia for all I fricking care.

I don’t care about stuff like this but it’s at least a fair question.

I mean, Brits were outraged over Rene Zelwegger being cast as a freaking British character from a book for Bridget Jones, so I can only imagine how they’d have felt if say Ed Harris was cast as Winston Churchill or Laura Linney as Queen Elizabeth in any of those movies.

Who.cares?

They are actors. Their job is to pretend to be someone else.

I’m pretty fricking tired of the brits in our media so I say yes. Every fricking time I see an interview with an actor, he sounds like a fookin poof.
