Agree. The books are the real gem of the Tolkien IP and some day i will do a reread and i don't want this crap to lessen the beauty of his original story.

Eh, the show wasn't good because of how it deviated form the source. But very little of it was actually comically bad, and most of the people that tried to comically make fun of it came off looking pretty unfunny.

When i said i didint' read the books and enjoyed it, what i meant was i enjoyed the story for the most part, as i don't konw the lore of what each character is supposed to be. I still thought it was written by some millenial moron, and i had issues with a good bit of what you just said.
But what about what you said is lore breaking? Sounds like you just didn't like how it was written, which i can agree with.

I do not hate but not even SW was this big of a disappointment. All the source material you needed and unlimited budget.
The visuals in the first episode were great along with the music but the writing was atrocious.
Again, just a huge disappointment on what could have been the greatest series on TV ever.

This tells me you never read the books. Which is fine but you want to call out people because they have. In the books she may be the greatest and wisest person in all his writings. Again, you have not read the books. They basically have taken thousands of years and combined them into a few. Like introducing characters such as Aragon and Gandalf who yet should not exist according to the books.

Galadriel was the only elf to not trust Sauron or Annatar, Yet the show has her befriending him and bringing him in. All this took place in the second age
Gandalf appears in third age 3000 years later and Aragorn is born 5000 years later. Roughly give or take a year or so.

I agree and Amazon only concern was making money piggy backing off of what Jackson did. Hence why they are using all the main characters.

But those rings could be a non-issue. Tolkien wrote that the Elves made many rings while learning the craft, before they got to the Great Rings. These could simply be the first such, that caused Celebrimbor to delve into the craft much more deeply. And you could state that by starting with 3, that's what inspired him to make the final Three.
It wouldn't take much effort to correct that, because it all would fit into lore.
