i thought women wanted to be treated as equals?
i've had coworkers discuss their sexual conquests before and never filed a complaint over it.
This is retarded.

I just watched it last night and told my wife that I don't know how Blake gets any acting gigs because that was terrible acting. I guess it's hard to perform well when you hate your co-star.

Read the article before you post. Not defending either person here but she did complain during filming.

Read what I said again. Don't give two shits abouybher complaining. She continued being sexually harrassed and she continued making the movie with him.
That's really all that matters yeah?
She should've fired him or quit. Why didn't she sue him when it actually happened?

Not to defend her waiting, but she had a bit of money invested as a producer and I think also it would make a ton less money from a lot of Hoover and Lively fans.
I’m no Stan for an out of touch Hollywood actress and think SH claims can be pretty flimsy and thrown around too easily, but I get it.
I like Ryan Reynolds fine but am ambivalent about Lively. She’s pretty and an ok actress but that’s all I got really.
The Baldoni dude just screams handsome douche bag. I’ve never heard of him before this.

I did. It was a retarded thing to say from a retarded individual.

She did. The studio made him and the producer bring in an outside producer, brought in an intimacy coordinator, and put in writing that he wouldn't retaliate.
So of course his stupid arse hired a PR firm to smear her in the press and left a nice evidence trail of his actions. His career is toast.

I think this is the bigger deal and why she did this

90% of the posters on this board won't care
From the NYT article:
quote:
It is unclear exactly how Mr. Wallace operated. There are references in emails to “social manipulation” and “proactive fan posting,” and text messages cite efforts to “boost” and “amplify” online content that was favorable to Mr. Baldoni or critical of Ms. Lively.
“We are crushing it on Reddit,” Mr. Wallace told Ms. Nathan, according to a text she sent Ms. Abel on Aug. 9.
The next day, one of Ms. Nathan’s employees texted, “We’ve started to see shift on social, due largely to Jed and his team’s efforts to shift the narrative.”
Ms. Nathan wrote to Ms. Abel: “And socials are really really ramping up. In his favour, she must be furious. It’s actually sad because it just shows you have people really want to hate on women.”

Not a dog in this fight, but she seems like she'd be a high-maintenance nightmare to deal with. Like the Gretzky chick.

I see you are choosing to just gloss over this one
As someone that has been in HR, you are also aware that when you file a complaint, it is also normal to file a complaint for every little issue you have with that person regardless of reasonableness. As you mentioned the weight & father thing would get an eye roll at best; especially the weight thing since he had to lift her
Talking about beating a porn addiction is one thing, but if he's also showing her images & videos, I am sure those conversations went further past beating a porn addiction. I'd even speculate that there were inferences made to her leaked nudes (can't recall if she's been nude in anything).

Watched this last night on Netflix, I will say that Baldoni gave off a really douchey creepy vibe to me. Wanted to punch him in the face from his first appearance on

* no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,
* no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia,
* no more inquiries about Blake’s weight
* no further mention of Blake’s dead father.
Blake seems a little wound too tight, if she thinks she is being harassed sexually in these instances
I feel like I would need more context before making a judgement call purely on these bullet points.

You need context for that second one?
frick's sake, man.

More for the rest of them, honestly.
The original poster implied them of being equally considered.
