You seem to be very set on defending Pam. She's not real and she's not going to bang you.

Just because he was able to discover himself doesn't mean anything was "Pam's fault".

But it was Pam's fault. Pam's entire life and mentality is geared towards not advancing and staying in mediocrity in Scranton. She demands it of her mates. She does it both Roy and Jim.

Yes. All the time. And actively sabatoges his chances at raises and moving up.

immediately accepted the #2 position in Scranton when the Stamford guy bolted for Staples. Less than a year later, he interviewed for Jan's job. All of that was "without Pam".

Yeah you just agreed with my point. All of that was without Pam. And guess why he didn't get Jan's job and move to corporate. Do you remember why passed on the job, he tanked his interview, and returned to being a mediocre paper salesman?

No he wouldn't. He'd try, but he wouldn't succeed. Which is pretty much the exact storyline in the show.

If you aren’t, you should be following the Scrantonicity-The Office Memes and More Facebook Page.

The post a bunch of deleted scenes, bonus footage and best of video clips. There was some gold that never made it into the show.

If you watch the DVD bonus footage there are entire story lines we never new about. It's pretty great.

That seems like a stretch, I get the impression pam would just lie there and wait for it to be over.

As long as she lets me inside, I don’t mind if she lays there

I agree with you about Pam, but mostly post-marriage. It was how she treated her coworkers that bothered me, not so much her romantic relationships.

This seems awfully presumptive. Is there any evidence she insisted on Roy "not advancing and staying in mediocrity in Scranton"? Why is that on Pam and not on Roy himself?

There's an instance where Jim wanted a raise and Pam sabotaged it? Link?

To be with Pam? How is that Pam's fault? And is it even true that Jim is "mediocre"?

I remember Pam being pretty supportive of Jim's meeting with David Wallace to push his idea to promote Michael and have Jim take over as branch manager. Then Michael sabotaged that and we ended up with the co-manager debacle.

I literally watched this episode last night. Such a classic saying. I watched the last 3 episodes of all time and it brought back some emotions.

I finished Season 7 last night. I agree with the poster who said earlier that Seasons 6 and 7 were better than he remembered. They were for me too and I thoroughly enjoyed this rewatch. I now think my alltime favorite moment is this: Biggest Penis

Some other things I had totally forgotten about and/or have a new appreciation for:

Pam at some point begins to consider Michael a true friend (despite the affair with her mom). There are numerous instances of her actively looking out for his well-being, even as she is vastly exasperated. I loved during the "Christening" episode where she had to force him to say outloud that he was not the actual godfather of Cece.

The intro scene where Stanley drinks Jim's OJ without realizing it's not his hot coffee. I love the cardboard box they put over his monitor.

Darryl and Andy are actual bros with each other. I don't know why I like that so much.

The several episodes dealing with Michael leaving - legit feels. (Including Jim tearing up)

Despite being largely a queen, Oscar does rather gamely deal with Michael's continuous and strident little gay remarks. (Oscar Meyer Weiner...Lover)

Various characters are shown making Michael-style blunders once they are put under the pressure of actual leadership (Jim and Darryl come to mind.) I also really enjoy when Jim is put on his heels - like when Dwight absolutely destroys him during the snowball fight.

Gabe - maybe I've come to like the actor because of Silicon Valley, but I actually like his character now.

Toby - WTF happened to him toward the end of Season 7? He's so gaunt, he virtually looks like a concentration camp survivor. His brother in Boulder.

"The Leads" - when Dwight bemoans the state of the dump.

The segment of the Sweeney Todd episode where the phone rings in Andy's pocket, the wine bottle rolls down the aisle, the balloons pop, and CeCe cries is some first class Office awkwardness

The biggest takeaway from seasons 7-9 on my rewatch is how funny Gabe is. Mainly due to his stellar role on Silicon Valley

Gabe's threats to Andy after Erin dumped Gabe at the Dundies are hilarious.

Speaking of that episode, I teared up a little when they sang Michael the 9,988,000 (whatever) minutes song from Rent.

I'm on my first watch of the series - I'll watch Michael's last episode tonight.

Watching the CeCe christening episode...

I love how realistic the reactions of their officemates throughout the ceremony and lunch.

But does anyone else want to punch that youth ministry chick in her lispy count face when she is talking to everyone?

The frick? Mose emerging to wrestle Ryan is one of the best moments in the entire series, I was rolling the first time I saw it

Eh. I love Mose as much as anyone. I just thought it was taken way too far.

I love the one where at the end they sneakily show Mose and Dwight facing off in ping pong...Chinese style.

My favorite all-time show - nice thread to all of you.

Some really good analysis here I thought, by some of you, and that's the great thing about the show.
These characters aren't just there for laughs, but we shared their lives with them. Felt like we knew them in a deeper way and pulled for them along the way, while they made us cry laughing.

Some legit feels in the series too.

Oh and I guess ill chime in on Pam and Jim. Jim would be a close friend and I think Pam is great and definite wife material and that's given all we know about her from start to finish.

I watch reruns more than anything else currently on tv.
