Also, am I the only one that skips over the Scott's Tot's episode? It is entirely too awkward.

That and I hate the Charles Minor saga.

I skip Scott's Totts as well and forced myself to watch the Charles Minor stuff this time. I forgot how much of a kiss up he was to David Wallace and how much Angela threw herself at him.

The only thing I like about the Charles Minor episodes is the payoff at the end. He hates Jim and thinks Dwight is the man, which bites him in the arse during MSPC buyout epusode. Dwight has those absurd ideas that make Charles look foolish.

Nah, it was great. Especially the end when he agreed to buy textbooks for the one kid who accosted him outside - and he thought it was a $ figure for the whole 4 years.

those entitled kids pissed me off, to be honest. Yes, Michael lied (somewhat - I'm not sure it's really a lie if you are naive and truly believe you can do it), but what makes them think that they are entitled to free schooling?

A show built on absurd humor...and lo and behold, we have several butthurt viewers in this thread who don't like the few episodes dealing with people of color. What a shock! Were you pissed off when Michael felt entitled to be promoted by corporate but wasn't even in the top 5 for consideration? Or how about when Dwight felt so entitled to become regional manager that he stopped doing his day job when he didn't get his way? etc. etc. No, instead, you were "pissed off" that some fictional CHILDREN who were promised to have their education funded by a local business leader were upset when the offer was rescinded.

The Office is a top 3 series for me. Right there with Seinfeld and Always Sunny.

I've watched through the Office a few times. Currently on Season 3 again. I watch it now when there is nothing else on.

I'll add my main observation... Andy gets more annoying every time I see him. He was good early in the series, but the dude has no spine. I know that's his character, but I can't help disliking him. The amount of foot kissing he did to Angela during their "engagement" while she treated him like complete shite made me hate him.

What in the frick are you talking about? Who said anything about color, and what are the other episodes you are talking about? Those kids weren't funny. Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson are.

Are you familiar with comedic timing and comedic acting?

Read the thread. The one guy can't watch the black kids or Idris Elba as boss.

What does any of that have to do with being mad at fictional characters for entitlement. It's a fricking fake show.

Yeah. I've been surprised at just how much screen time Andy gets. I just don't remember that when watching it in real time back in the day. The one where he got pepper sprayed at the end...whoo boy, I laughed for days. I just finished the Garden Party episode where he was completely cucked by his own parents.

They weren't acting entitled. Michael promised to pay for their college tuition. That's the opposite of entitled.

What the frick does that have to do with me? I never mentioned anything about race.

The Charles Minor story line is fairly boring other than the part where he puts his trust in Dwight and it backfires. What the frick does that have to do with being black?

Talk about a pansy arse snowflake mentality.

This was YOUR quote that I responded to:

The big difference is that the guys you mentioned are funny and make those situations funny. Did you find your own post so fricking ridiculously absurd that you chose to block that part out?

I'm sorry that I didn't find your brethren to be funny. I'll be sure to laugh at every single black character regardless of the quality of their performance so that I can avoid having people like you swooping in to scream about racism.

Every single topic discussed on this board is fake, so if no one is allowed to be pissed about anything then we should probably have this place shite down.

frick you.

It's been quite a while since I've seen that ep so I don't remember, was there not any follow up on that promise? I remember Stanley has a newspaper cutout from when it first happened years ago, but over the last ~10 years (of real time, in "office world time") did anyone ever reach out to be like "hey mike, we're still good right?"

No, I understand now. Straight men are to be "pissed off" about.

Of course not. The entire thing was absurd and not realistic as presented...like a good many things over the course of the show (if not the entire premise of the show itself.)
