People shouldn't be mad about them casting a black woman as betty boop, they should be mad that they casted an uglier, thicker one.

This is not a Disney production.
The actress is paying for the production herself and cast herself as the star. In addition, she's working with a descendent of the originator of Betty Boop.
She knows people like you are not interested in seeing it, and she doesn't care. She's willing to take that risk and put her own money on the line.
Go and find something of actual importance to bitch about.

I assume this is the "Betty Boop" character Brunson will be playing considering the description of the movie doesn't sound like it's a literal live action Betty Boop movie but rather a biopic about her creator Max Fleischer and his relationship w/the character.
